Replying To bloodandbandage:  "Ah no worries. Just as an update, I see both are fit and available for selection, which is good news. They were both a huge loss last year, and I'd also add Connolly into that. Great to have them all back. How are Limerick on the injury front?"
According to John Kiely, Darragh O Donovan is going to miss the first 2 Games. Peter Casey is suspended for the Clare Game. I've heard nothing about Kyle Hayes so no idea if he's fit or not. I think Cork will be close this year. They seem to have a good blend of youth and experience. Connolly could be a huge asset this year

Clare is still the team I would fear the most. Cork are a good team, but there are a few players who now seem certain to start and they have just failed too often on the Big Day before.

Coleman would be some man to spring in the second half, he's a serious operator.

Our Game is my favourite podcast to listen too, enjoy Independent throw in show with Eddie Brennan and Mullane too and Off the Ball's hurling pod, few of the local podcasts can be decent too."
What's the our game podcast?
I used to listen to Dalo too but full of in joke amongst buddys for me, def not worth the subscription.

Replying To Canuck:  "I honestly don't know how Waterford will do but "haven't a hope " is pretty degrading. Waterford largest defeat with half a team in the league was three points and nine in total over five games. Kilkenny the All-Ireland and league finalist was a bizzar one because it should have been won. I am not a Davy fan and that makes me skeptical but the players are playing for Waterford. The injured players and how many come back being match ready is difficult. Someone will be eating humble pie before the Munster Championship is over. Look out Banner for those no hopers."
Their discipline will cost them big-time. It usually does.

I think Limerick and Clare is going to be some battle on Sunday.

There's no real talk about it in Limerick this week but I sense a little bit of nervous tension around Limerick supporters. I think that is down to the form shown by Clare so far this year. In fairness they have been very good this year and their squad has considerably improved since last year. There is huge confidence amongst my Clare work colleagues (i won't call them friends in the week that in it) at the moment and they are all buying into Colm Galvin's comments on OTB last week where he said said "Limerick are tired" or Dalo's Podcast where had said "Limerick would make the top three in Munster round Robin this year"

What I have learned from the past, is that form goes out the window in Limerick and Clare matches, they are nearly always 50:50 battles with a bounce of a ball deciding it in the end. The question is can Limerick go to the well and up the ante to the required level again this year? I hope so.

I have full confidence in the panel we have available and the utmost belief in the management team to implement the best possible game plan. Who would we think of replacing based on our track record thus far .

I tune out the sublime negative thoughts that come mostly from those with a vested interest in undermining us.

Come On Ye Boys in Green, they deserve our unwavering support!

Absolutely anything could happen in the Clare Limerick game but I do think it is this Clare team's absolute last chance to step up to the mark (not necessarily just the opener against Limerick, which could be ok for them to lose if they recover to take either a Munster or AI title - and I would be more than happy with a Munster). The players definitely feel they have under-achieved, and whether or not that is true from a motivational aspect that is a potent factor. From a supporter's perspective, this group of players under Lohan have consistently lit up my summers and entertained the hurling world as a whole for the past five years, even without big silverware successes. Maybe time will prove them to be the Mayo of the hurling world. Most of the key players are now streaking past the thirty-year mark, making them a little older than the Limerick outfit. True, there are some promising youngsters coming through, and Clare will probably not drop down the list of contenders anytime soon, but age-wise there are few lads in the panel now in the 25-30 bracket (only Fitzgerald, Taylor, Ian Galvin, Hayes and Shanagher, I believe). Limerick on the other hand have already proven themselves to be one of the greatest teams of all time, and I believe if Limerick still have the hunger they will win on Sunday. Our (Clare's) best hope would be that one of the young guns explodes onto the scene in a way similar to Shane O'Donnell in 2013 (and it might be another Shane coming off the bench in the second half). We live in hope, but one thing is for sure - as always, we will enjoy the ride.

Anyway, if the word around that C'ON won't be moving from wing back on Sunday is true, and Hayes is fit, could he be started at midfield? Would be very interesting. Most likely they'll start the other way round though, you wuld guess. The Limerick half backline vs Clare half forward line is going to be a Godzilla vs King Kong scenario!
Adam English is an injury doubt, which is a pity, as I think he would have a great chance of getting in instead of Pete Casey if he was fit.

Impossible to call it, fantastic game to look forward to!

Think Cork will win the other one, but Waterford are going to be possessed for this one, so they'll have to be ready.

Clare name same team as league final, cant see that team starting, would expect SOD and McInerney to start.

Kelly named on the bench. Mind games or is he ready? We will know in 52 hours I guess. Roll on Sunday.

Thats our strongest panel that I can remember..... we have great options now which is fantastic.

Will it be enough to beat arguably the greatest team of all time, we will see but I am very happy with the panel we have going into Munster and hopefully Ryan Taylor will be back for the second half of the Munster Championship also.

Do you think he will start that team I hate dummy teams but leaving McInerney & Hayes off seems a real unnecessary gamble.

Limerick are playing it very low key but we need a 100% effort from everyone to have a shout
Was in Bridge last night disappointing night for Limericks u-17 Clare i imagine into semi final no where near as good as last year who were exceptional but a very organised side have only conceded 21 points in two games mark O Brien looks like a serious injury would be huge loss but Paul Rodgers a good replacement another Lohan representing Clare last night

Teams named, that limerick 15 will definitely start..plenty for Clare to think of with lynch named corner forward..Clare won't start as named,I'd expect at least 2 changes with mc inerney and o Donnell playing..Mcinerney has nearly always competed 50/50 with hearty..o Donnell at half forward with possibly rogers not starting..roll on Sunday, atmosphere definitely building..interesting day ahead..

Both teams named but if anything it's more confusing now than before, that Limerick team could start but with a load of positional changes while Clare will have a few personnel changes before throw in. Can't wait for this, how many hours is it now LRH.

No Rodgers will definitely start if there are changes it will be in backs but Brian Lohan will hardly start two rookies on Gearoid Hegarty and Lynch

Congrats on the big win yesterday (thoroughly deserved) Canuck - ye must be delighted. I never bought into Cork being hot favorites here, and knew once Waterford got their big names back they would be a massive threat. Of course our same old failings came back to haunt us, but I'm not going to dwell on them, I just hope Pat Ryan can see the changes required (like the rest of us) for next week. We have a massive chance of redemption this Sunday against a Clare team who will also be hurting. Do or die hurling - should be a belter!
