Saw him hurling twice this year and a few times last year. Wouldn't be on my list for county team at all. Good club hurler only

Replying To Viking66:  "The best man should get the job. Where he's from, or where other Wexford managers are from, should be irrelevant. Same as it should be with players. If Dessie Mythen or Colin Sutherland wanted the job I'd be happy enough. Same as Carley. Not sure about Mick junior yet tbh. I'm also not sure Cleary is the man for it. At the end of the day none of us are on the selection committee so whoever gets the job I'll still travel and support the team. I do feel they could go well next year. And I also feel the minors should do well also."
Mythen would be a great shout for the 20s, and I believe the Oilgate players loved hurling for him. Disappointed that Mick Jacob has been given another year with the minor, my cousin was on the panel last year and is underage again this year and the feeling is the returning players didn't want Mick back, very poor player management, there was 3 seemingly asked about the job and the favourite was the U16 Squad Manager but sure when an Oulart man is on the selection committee is was always going to be Mick. Pity because it's a very strong squad in 2024

The last time Liam Dunne was manager of Wexford the squad was stacked with Oulart players, will we see the same under Rossiter?

Though to be fair to Dunne, Oulart were the top team in Wexford back then.

JJ Doyle is excellent though. Great communicator.

I very much doubt we will. If he could get Billy Dunne to commit properly it would be great though.

To be fair I don't think there was anyone on it from oulart that didn't deserve to be there at the time.

In stark contrast, I don't know who rossi could bring in. Most of their best players are over the hill

You seem in a bit of a rush to write him off. He's still under 20

Rossiter's 2 years with the u20s are the best evidence and he had lads from all over Wexford on those teams, like you said Oulart were the standard bearers during Dunne's tenure.

He's not u20 for next year. But I agree he has some things going for him and can certainly improve.

How could you even ask if we will see the same under Rossiter? Oulart will not have anyone in the panel

That would be great from the point of view of thorough preparation tactically etc.

That would be major help going forward if true

Is there anybody else rumoured to be involved. I like the sound of the set up Keith has around him now. Hopefully get in a top quality sports psychologist also

Was he a good motivator in the dressing room when you played with him?

Anyone go to any of the meetings the CB organised with the underage coaches of the county's clubs? What did you think?
