Yeah, it's a competition for teams who don't make the provinicial semi-finals. Basically what would normally be called a Shield, even though it's for the Seamus Heaney Cup. Because we only lost in the quarter-finals of the championship "proper", we went straight into the semi-finals of this. Thanks. I see they were in the final last year as well. Louth v Longford on the other side.

I see Louth had a big win over Longford in the other semi-final last night (4-21 to 3-7). Final likely to be next week and I'd guess Parnell Park might be the venue.

The regular final is on Wed, Kildare 1pth win over Meath. Looking back on the group games and QFs you would have to say we should be in with a strong chance in final.
