The standard of Dublin club hurling has never been higher.

Look at Cuala winning the All Ireland twice in the last 5 years.

I watched some of the games on Dub TV this year and it was a really good competitive match.

Raharney will have to bring their A game and more.

Raharney will need the Doyles, Cunneen, Ahearne etc firing on all cylinders. The game is in cusack Park I believe.

Yeah in cusack. I think Raharney have a decent chance. Ballyboden and clonkill drew in parnell a couple of years back so the gap isn't as big as you'd think

Dublin hurling has pushed on since. Kilmacud a better outfit than balyboden and I would say the westmeath standard has dropped a small bit

Hard luck to Cullion, better team throughout and lead the all the way through but took the foot off at the crucial period. Well done to Plunketts

Conor Shaw and Kevin Regan were two big losses for Cullion and most likely would have won if they had them especially coming into the end of the game. Cullion should be well able to compete in Senior A next year.

Ballinakill missing their two best players in cha dwyer and Georoid lynch. Both laois players and cha is probably the most skillfull hurler in Laois. All in all a super win for Ballinakill.

Conor Shaw is injured I believe but yes Kevin Regan will be starting for Lomans tomorrow in senior football final replay. Is he one of the joint captains for Cullion ? Tricky spot for him but the fact that Cullion won their final and are in bonus territory surely meant the football final gets priority ?

Hurling I'd have thought would be Kevin's first love. He's on the county hurling panel and Joe Fortune will be calling on his services shortly. Surely he could have been allowed play for just one quarter today, his presence for 15-20 mins would definitely have got Cullion across the line. Jack Geoghegan played for Col Muire during the week and he's also starting tomorrow. Cullion and Loman's have long ties historically, surprising that no compromise could be reached.

Bonus territory for Cullion yes, fair point, but the reality is Lomans will have 20 odd good footballers togged out tomorrow to choose from, and can make changes depending on d a lad playing badly, the opposition, weather, conditions etc etc where as I'd imagine Regan would be a lynch pin for Cullion and vice captain. Its not a hurling v football debate more a big club v small club one.

Are plunketts out again this weekend? Going well. Wexford and Kilkenny normally the ones to beat

Plunketts got it hard to beat the crowd from Louth.

Naturally enough, first tier Louth team, third tier Westmeath team.

There's only 3 or 4 senior clubs in Louth. Plunketts were & should still be a senior club in Westmeath.

And I'm sure that if they could have played the game in 2007 then Plunketts would have hammered them. But in 2021 Plunketts were in the 3rd tier of Westmeath hurling. It was a good win for them.
