Is that not the weekend of the intermediate and junior football? With the senior football the week before? I stand to be corrected though

Replying To jobber:  "Fair play you got it right. This is a very positive development.O Brien was top notch with us and after his experience with Dublin can only have improved. This should settle the doubts supporters,Clubs, and above all the players have had. Lets hope the board give them the support they need and perhaps give O Brien the under 20s as well but that might be too much to hope for."
Credit must go to chairman of the board who got Shane in. Shrewd and bit of work. He's destined for a return to the hot seat.

Thoughts on the semi finals across Intermediate, Senior B and Senior A at the weekend?

Intermediate I'd go for Southern Gaels to edge out St Brigids by a point or two and Brownstown to have a bit to spare over Raharney.

Senior B, I think Ringtown will be disappointed with how they faired vs Fr Daltons in the last game especially conceding 5 goals, their will be an improvement on their end and it'll be a tighter game but still see Daltons winning by 2/3.

Senior A, it was a great game between Clonkill and the Gaels the last day, very high scoring. I think depending on weather conditions it'll be more of the same. Gaels have made a habit of winning games at the death, this could go either way. I'll go the Gaels by 1/2 again.

With pitches getting heavier and the return to 100% of Mitchell and Egerton Clonkill might surprise.
Senior B i think Daltons should beat Ringtown while in Intermediate maybe Bridgits and Brownstown might scrape through

Clonkill by 4-5 points
Daltons by 5-6
Then Brownstown to be comfortable winners with st brigids to just overcome southern gaels

The gaels by 2 points
Ringtown by 5+ points
Raharney will put everything into intermediate as only hope of ending the year with silverware so I'm saying Raharney by 1 point
St. Brigids by 3 points

Great win by CBS Mullingar over Enniscorthy in the Leinster Junior A championship, 3-19-1-08. Following on from their big win over Colaiste Eoin Dublin. Into the semi final of the A championship now, great achievement.

Mitchell to be up full forward which the Gaels won't be able to handle. They've nobody to stick with Luke either in my opinion

If that happens they'll just put Jogger back in full back which will probably nullify Mitchell. I think Clonkill will keep him out the field though.
