Big game tomorrow against our nearest and dearest rivals. We have a good team out, we can do it but it's a derby game, so for sure it will be exciting as it always is. This ain't the O'Byrne Cup.

Replying To Ollie2:  "Maybe between Ardee and Carrick there would be a bit of a rivalry."
What about Reaghstown and Inniskeen

Well we left that behind us, didnt take our goals and then some errors in second half when coasting with 4 points up. No score for 20 minutes and Meath started playing and hitting hard. Trevor Giles half time team talk must have worked.

A scrappy and tough game. Not of the highest quality but matches like that are beneficial for teams. Hope it'll push both teams on to bigger performances later in the year. Safe home to all Louth fans who made the trip.

Great win v Fermanagh, some days all the goals go in. Sam played well and good to have Ciaran back, they play well together

Good win on Saturday after all the heartbreak. Well done lads. Essential we win in Carlow and get as high as possible to qualify for Sam. I reckon we would be 16th if things go like this:-
Provincial finals.
Ulster: Derry v Armagh. Worry. Down to make final
Connacht: Roscommon v Galway. Worry. Galway to slip
Leinster : Dublin v Louth. Worry. Westmeath
Munster: Kerry v Clare. Worry. None

If Meath and Cork lose on Saturday and we win we will be 14th.
Go for it boys.

Well done on staying up. I thought you were very impressive the day we played you in Ballyshannon. Well deserved.

Well deserved win against Kildare who are seriously on the slide which is hard to believe. They were playing for pride. Lovely goal and points by Ryan Burns. Ciaran Downey scored a lovely one late on, my man of the match, was everywhere. Sam the Man, again took plenty of punishment but solid on the frees bar , one howler miss kick. Great save by our keeper Keeper Niall McDonnell. He is doing very well and with kickouts. The defensive tackling, turnovers and not giving away scorable frees has noticeably improved, so well done to all involved there. We won that game pulling up imo so overall a great league campaign and good preparation for the Leinster Championship. Keep it up Ger Brennan, backroom boys and Team. We could go a long way this summer. We are hard to beat. An Lu Abu.

Thanks for the win lads. It was hard earned with our hearts in our mouths right up to that last catch by Dermot Campbell. A goal then, like the one in Ballyshannon, would have sent us down. Too close for comfort. Anyway the excitement afterwards was powerful with a mighty buzz on the field. It's great the way we can meet and chat with the players etc. after the games. Like an extended club match.
Kildare won't be easy if we meet in Leinster semi-final. Sorry for Glen Ryan, a great GAA man.

There will be fantastic local derbies next year- Monaghan, Meath and Down, with Cavan and Westmeath just down the road. The big one will be in Pairc Ui Chaoimh ( they will hardly be in Ardee three years in a row) where we might need the win for promotion. Hope the Rossies won't be our graveyard. Onwards and upwards.

Just three weeks now to our first game in Leinster. Carlow or Wexford in Tullamore or Port Laois. Have to put that one to bed early. Any news on Casey?
