Replying To Backheel: "Very disappointing to hear of under 20s not committing. Perhaps it's a reflection of where society is at. In previous years very unusual to see any players not committing to a county underage squad panel. For what one would imagine would great fun and a sense of comraderie with other lads from around the county. Perhaps the carrot of playing intercounty football is out weighed by the sacrifice to other interests or education. Best of luck to the lads in what ever their endeavours may be."
Disappointing to see quality players not committing. I see six u20's in the senior squad. Are they released back to the 20's at all for games.
