Replying To The_analyser:  "Dominic's have beaten Four Roads twice already this year. In the group stage in July winning 3-14 to 2-12 when Naos Connaughton's tally of 3-7 propelled them to victory and again in the league in June 3-15 to 1-15.

If Dominic's can score another three goals this Sunday they'll give themselves a real good chance to win a first county title in 27 years and if they do they'll party like it's 1999.

Four Roads will know all about the challenge that awaits them after those previous defeats to Dominic's and how Oran pushed them all the way in their last two games should be battle hardened for Sunday. Going for five in a row titles and it's hard to go against that winning experience and they showed their winning experience in the 2024 final by coming back from 10 points 2nd best for 45 minutes yet still found a way win."
At this stage Four Roads ambition is to mount some sort of a challenge in Connacht but if they take their eye off the ball today they'll be beaten. They were 5 points off Tooreen last year who probably should have won an All Ireland. Are Four Roads any stronger this year? Tooreen hammered Ballyhaunis yesterday and I think there was a few that thought Ballyhaunis might take a Tooreen team that are on the "wane". I'd say they're upping their game in preparation for much stronger Galway opposition this year after their intermediate rejig.
It would be good for hurling in the county if Dominics can get the win, 27 years is a long time for an area with a proud hurling tradition.

Well said. Four Roads will be itching to get back to a club intermediate championship bit I don't think they really have a chance to win it at the moment. Toureen and a stronger Galway intermediate rep will prevail. That marks a chance for Doms to spring a surprise of sorts today. Some key battles are crucial. Could go down the last ten minute alley this one.

Four Roads on course for five in a row with a 6 point Half-time lead. Could be worse for Dominic's but for two smart saves by Mark Miley (one from a penalty) it was 0-6 to 0-1 in scoring in the last 14 minutes of action.

Dominic's will need to make good use of the wind 2nd half now but in Morris Fallon Four Roads has scorers that can score from distance against the wind.
