Yea, Roscommon could do with someone like that who has a great football brain and knows the standards that are needed if you want to become a consistent top 8 team. Is this Jack O'COnnors last year? Tomás Ó Sé for the senior and Donaghy to take over u20s?

Ya think Jack O'Connor said this was his last year but that could change. Cian O'Neil could take it to. Kerry won't find it hard to get new manager.

O'Neill seems more suited to a coach/no.2 role.
He was a bit of a disaster with Kildare (apart from Newbridge or nowhere episode).
Has the search started yet or are we waiting to see who's left in October once again?

Whoever we appoint you'd hope the county board has some sort of long term strategy for the county team now that the COE has permission. How far away are they from getting going with construction?
As someone said in a previous post there are certain elements like strength and conditioning that should have a plan regardless of what manager there is.

I agree that it is unlikely to happen but a ticket of Donaghy as manager and attacking coach and Donie Buckley or Paddy Tally as defence and tackling coach would be very attractive. All very experienced operators who would make a big difference.
Maybe I am dreaming too much, but surely Roscommon playing in division 1 and after good underage performances (under 20's & minor) recently should make managing Roscommon a relatively attractive proposition for someone with ambition.
Stick in your application Kieran. Go for it!

That would be a great ticket! Looks like Derry are moving very quickly to replace Tally who only stepped away last week or the week before. Examiner reporting Meenagh and McKeigue management team.

Hard to know how Donaghy would work with Roscommon or any other team as he hasn't managed any team. Will be that keen to make the step up? A lot stick to the coaching ticket as are just as well looked after and doesn't get much if any criticism when things turn south.
