We opened a state of the art gym in 2023 - a few things need to be asked.

1. Who is currently head of performance(s+c) was Gary Flannery replaced? Going forward this position should BE independent of any county manager.

2. Since its opening, how often have underage/county players had supervised s+c sessions outside of the playing season.

we can't using the excuse not having a centre of excellence in place if mcstay/mc hugh were trying to implent s+c structures previously.

Replying To Seanfanbocht:  "2 teams well ahead of the rest and sadly about 12 of the rest ahead of us.
Leaving aside the 2 Covid years, it's 2015 since we didn't make the last 12 at least.
We had a good group of under age lads came on the panel then.
Are our current coming of age crew capable of regular Quarter Final appearances ?"
Sadly Roscommon are a long way from a Top 8 team. Failed to get out of the group this year. Beat Cork down in Cork in the league but could not repeat the dose on the day which mattered.
Connacht championship and league is a poor barometer.
Roscommon won promotion to D1 next year. A great league. Look at the performances of the D2 teams in championship.
Monaghan (also promoted) - Last 8
Meath - Last 4
Cavan - Last 12
Cork - Last 12
Louth - Leinster champions and last 12
Down - Relegated and last 12
Westmeath - Not a SAM team.
Tells it's own story.

Replying To Michaelbeag:  "Besides stack we haven't a player good enough make the kerry donegal teams
The players we have a bizarre statement."
Nothing bizarre at all about if you read the post. I'm talking about Roscommon at least getting to a quarter final and we have the players to do that. We're not potential All Ireland champions but surely we're last 8 material. Enda Smith was an All Star two years ago. The Murtaghs are quality players . You mention Stack. Daire Cregg, Ben O'Carroll. Tyrone and Meath made a semi final and they're poor teams based on what we saw this weekend.
