Watched the highlights on RTE and more uninformed nonsense from the pundits. Cavanagh made a comment about Roscommon and Cavan throwing off the shackles having been very defensive teams for the past ten years. Clueless. Three tough games but Louth would be the ideal draw. Especially after coming off a trimming from Kerry. Think that game would be in Navan too where we've won in the recent past. Galway and Tyrone would be very tough games but if we reach our potential we are good enough to win. Galway have been very unlucky with injuries this season so that'll not help them. Plus we seem to prefer playing them on their home patch. Tyrone will be missing Con Kilpatrick which will be a huge loss for them. I think of all the teams we can draw my preference would be Louth, then Galway and then Tyrone. Think Tyrone would be the toughest nut to crack for us. I just hope we tighten up at the back big time for next weekend, whoever it is we draw. Well done to the players and management on yesterday's win. They still had to go and win it so fair play. Get the heads right and no reason to fear anyone next weekend

I would agree that Tyrone would be the toughest for us. Not that Galway would be in any ways easy and Louth no pushovers but Tyrone will be fresher than Galway. Both Galway and Armagh were fighting to the very end in that clash and especially if the game is played on Sat, Galway will have one less day of recovery and have also a psychological recovery to make as well. But no matter who we play, if we do not address some of our defensive frailties we will not beat either of the three teams. We really need to stop conceding goals. I would say Mayo will be in a much better place mentally than Galway. They were a bit fortuitous to be leading with the dodgey 45 and free on ROD and Dublin missed a good goal chance. Saying that, Mayo did really well and O'Shea was very good and caused chaos at times. Mayo will fear no one in the prelim and with the way Derry are going at the moment I would put Mayo as favourites no matter who they get. Galway were cruising and will wonder how they let Armagh back into that game.

Tough draw whoever we get. I agree with what has been said already with the choice of Louth 1st,Galway 2nd and Tyrone 3rd. Louth are every improving with plenty of big physical unit and good at creating scoring goal. Galway we know all about they only have Comer injured of their first choice players injured and are hints we'll be back next weekend. I would say ourselves, Tyrone and Mayo should be in good shape mentally. I wouldn't say Mayo fecked up though. Thought they done very well against Dublin. I expected Dublin to pull away in the end and win comfortably. However, the ref gave Mayo some very soft frees especially the foul on Fenton and he gives free to Mayo. Then a ball comes off a Mayo player and the umpire gives the 45. Mayo scored from both errors from the officials. In fairness that's not their fault, they can only play the whistle. I think Mayo will probably get better as the competition goes on but I still think Dublin are the team to beat. Anyway we'll wait and see what awaits us tomorrow morning. I'm looking forward to another day out next weekend. Ros Comáin abú

Mayo will beat whoever they play next weekend. the problem will be the following weekend as it's their 3rd match in 14 days and will face a rested Armagh,Donegal or Kerry. The reaction of the Mayo players to that draw at the final whistle said it all. Galway really messed up 0-13 to 0-8 ahead 56 minutes played and allowed them to get out scored 1-4 to 0-2 for the rest of the game. Just typical the one team we didn't want is who we get in this morning day. As I said yesterday Tyrone are our bogey team and traveling up North is very from ideal. Wasn't he the same midfielder that was sent off in the 1st half against Roscommon this year and Tyrone still went on to win? Hard to see Tyrone not winning again this weekend.

We really need to change the mentality in Roscommon, we put up too many mental barriers. This is a great chance for us to beat a team of substance outside of our own province in years. I'm not saying it won't be tough but Tyrone are currently not as good as Galway or Mayo. We need big support up there next weekend and hopefully the team can peak now. Tyrone's top liability more likely. If there's a scuffle on the field you can be sure Kilpatrick is involved.

Probably the toughest but we have a bad record against most teams outside of our province in championship. Galway got the best possible draw for themselves to try and get back on track with. I agree, with the way Derry are at the moment I think Mayo will beat them.

On the Cavan game, I think everyone knew it was probably going to be a shootout. However, conceding 1-20 is worrying, Cavan got through us with ease at time. They'll beat Derry. Have you seen Derry defensively against both Donegal and Armagh in this years championship? all is not well in that camp and Harte will likely be gone after that match. Mayo can struggle and lose at home in Connacht matches v Galway and Roscommon however have won every All Ireland series match they have played a record going back two decades. Very tough draw for Roscommon but beating Tyrone in this last 12 tie against the odds would make up for losing to Clare,Cork the last two years when expected to win.
