Replying To dave1988:  "I heard Hussey and stack were back training but did they start any challenge games. Badly need them two starting Sunday."
The pair played challenges
Stack got sent off in the 1 against the dubs.

Replying To Seanfanbocht:  "In my opinion the u 20s should be let have their shot at glory with a full pick.
They'll have plenty of time for Senior after. Theyll never be u 20 again.
The Senior panel has plenty of forwards anyway."
Totally agree. U20s should play u20.

Team names and a few surprises, but could see a few changes before throw in. Fully expected Colin Walsh to start can't see McCormick playing corner back. Harney at midfield will be interesting and surprised McGann is named and no Cathal Heneghan. Good to see Kilroy, Stack, Hussey and Lavin back. Cork with 6 debutants but still have class players in Powter, Meehan and Hurley. Best of luck to the Rossies tomorrow.

Best of luck to St. Faithleachs and Padraig Pearses today in their All Ireland semi finals. Hope you both do the business and give us all a good weekend in Croker shortly. Up the Rossies!!!

Best wishes to Pearses and Fáiles today and the County tomorrow.
Loads of people think there will be changes to the starting 15 tomorrow but can't see too many myself (apart from 1 injury).
Lads like Walsh and Doyle up from u 20 will be used as subs for a few games to see how they adjust to Senior.

One of the named starters is believed to be ruled out through injury. Cunnane and Doyle both picked up knocks but should be on the bench.

Good to see Hussey, Lavin, Stack, Kilroy recover from injury/illness. I'd say Walsh would have started if he didn't have a knock out college match early next week.

I'm on the road to the Downs now and off to Breffni Park later. Best of luck to both St Faithleachs and Padraig Pearses.

Not to be for Faithleachs, as was the case in the Connacht championship, county final and quarter final against Fuerty a very patchy performance by Faithleachs. Were able to win those games but that wasn't sustainable.

Created more than enough chances to reach the AI final however was too wasteful with poor shot selections throughout.

Cox pulled his hamstring. Heneghan is starting in his place.

Not to be for Pearses either. Conceded the same score today as they did against Knockmore 1-11 each but didn't get close to the 1-13 score against a strong and well organised Kilmacud defence led by Rory O'Carroll.

Lessons will have to be taken on board by Pearses if they are to find themselves back in All Ireland semi final again.

The fact that Kilmacud scored 1-10 from play to 0-5 from Pearses (from play) tells its own story. Kilmaucd seemed to operate from the Jim Galvin/Dublin script and bring on fast subs at the end to test tired legs with the subs hitting four out of the last five points. I did not think that the final scoreline did justice to Pearses. St Faithleachs did not play to their potential in the first half with a very strong wind, and left themselves with an up-hill battle at half time. They came out and played much better in the second half and had Trim on the ropes at times towards the end. Both Roscommon teams gave it everything they had, but will have to accept the the two better teams won on the day. It has been a great year for both teams and that should not be forgotten on a difficult day.

A blow on top of the players Roscommon are already missing.

Will the Pearses, Faithleachs players be available for selection against Meath next weekend or rested for another week.

I thought the winning was there for both Roscommon club teams. Both let down by giving away poor goals and didn't give it everything offensively.

it was 1-6 to 0-8 with 10 mins to play. 0-5 to no score in the final 9 mins and all from play.

What I want to know is, why did they let those Mountbellew fellas into that tunnel before the two teams went in for the break?
