It's worrying to see how toxic this thread is from so called GAA supporters. Had Galway written off before the second half even began. Interesting to see what ye have to say now but the usual back peddling. WarriorG125 (Galway) - Posts: 4 - 14/06/2025 20:40:05 2617472 Link 1 |

In fairness I was pulling my hair out at half time, but this group continue to give us great days out.. Belclare7 (Galway) - Posts: 290 - 14/06/2025 20:55:05 2617483 Link 1 |

I am launching a lawsuit against the Galway Football team for giving me heart attacks every time they play. Seriously though can they do anything THE EASY WAY??? Trump2020 (Galway) - Posts: 2548 - 14/06/2025 20:56:56 2617485 Link 1 |
So does that end the debate that Conor Gleeson is a better goalie than Conor Flaherty, and can people stop saying it's time for him to get a chance lost nearly every kick out, Fox.1n.7he.b0x (Galway) - Posts: 154 - 14/06/2025 21:03:13 2617487 Link 3 |

With all the injuries Kerry have and the lack of competitive games up to now, I think that is a very pessimistic view. Momentum is important now.

I don't need too. I was there, we were a disgrace, home truths at halftime helped. I standby my comment our big players didn't turn up, they have to do it every game and for 70 minutes. One player in particular needs to knuckle down and stop thinking he is playing U10 go games and doing stupid things. The team showed some "Fu$king Pride" in the second half, they owed us that. Now jog on, I've two hours more to home.

Championship winning mentality in that second half. An awful lot left behind with missed chances and they still bounced back. Bench made a solid impact. Céin D'Arcy is so underrated here, an absolute workhorse of a man. Galway2025 (Galway) - Posts: 2 - 14/06/2025 21:22:54 2617496 Link 1 |
Have a look back at my posts and tell me anything I said about the 1st half was incorrect or about the 2nd half for that matter? Is this Galway team playing well consistently and playing with a pace and energy for full games? Is Kelly the answer at 6? I think that looking at that 1st half display, derry match and dublin match people have a right to have questions.

Did anyone underrate him more than the lads that didn't select him to start in Derry?

Jimmy, JimB, Séamuisín a mhiceo. Sionnach i measc na gcearta. Nothing lucky about that given, the hole we'd dug for ourselves. 8 points down at half-time, two missed penalties, at least two other missed goal chances, kickouts gone haywire and we still won it. Just because you were there doesn't mean you speak for everyone that attended the game. I was there too. Great battling performance in second half, including some great scores, great tackles etc. To make a sweeping statement that our big game players didn't show up just confirms you don't know a whole pile really about football. Not sure why you go support them with such a blinkered view on things.
