It's worrying to see how toxic this thread is from so called GAA supporters. Had Galway written off before the second half even began. Interesting to see what ye have to say now but the usual back peddling. Yes they needed to do something to bring it back but the lack of football knowledge from some posts on here ye wouldn't need to be leaving the day job. PJ made some changes to starting line up which worked well and there was grit from the start of the second half. More of that next weekend from the get go. In fairness I was pulling my hair out at half time, but this group continue to give us great days out.. We could be gone next weekend but they give their all for the county and I salute every single one of them. That was a tough tough group and we get out of it and move on.. Serious second half performance. Why do we seem so lacking in motivation at times / as was the case in the first half today? I can't understand it. Switching the goalie backfired bigtime. We conceded some amount of scores from wayward restarts. Tough game awaits next week but fair play to them for standing up in that second half. Have a look back at my posts and tell me anything I said about the 1st half was incorrect or about the 2nd half for that matter? Is this Galway team playing well consistently and playing with a pace and energy for full games? Is Kelly the answer at 6? Great battling performance in second half, including some great scores, great tackles etc. To make a sweeping statement that our big game players didn't show up just confirms you don't know a whole pile really about football.
