Replying To Mayonman:  "New York fast approaching.

Be careful with your mobile data. You could get scalded very easily. Might be worth investing €20 in an eSim. I am looking at GoMoworld.

Not sure if I'll venture to the Dancing event!

Less formal event in Mustang Harrys on the Friday (meet and greet with the squad and past players).

Connollys has a fundraiser for Caherlistrane,

I think GBFM are in Jakes Saloon on the Saturday afternoon .....i think but not sure!

Can't wait. Should be a great trip.

Anyone else have any info?"
Friday

Mustang Harry's at 8pm. Meet & Greet with the Galway team.

Saturday
Dancing like a star - Hammerstein Ballroom - 7pm.

Sunday
Pre match - bars in McLean Ave, Yonkers.
New York vs Galway - Gaelic Park - 3pm
Post match reception - Jake's Saloon - 9pm

When is the Caherlistrane gig on?
I didn't here anything about GBFM in Jake's saloon.

Most people will be doing their own thing, just going to the match but there is plenty of Galway events on.

Apparently issues this week with the availibility of Gaelic Park. Its reported that Donald Trump wants to reclaim it as part of his plan to make America GREAT again! Match could be moved to Boston according to my sources over there.

Match in New York going to be live on GAA+.
Has anyone signed up? If so, can you watch through the app? App currently saying it's updating

Replying To Marooned:  "Been saying it here for a while. The U20 and minor All-Ireland wins in 2020 and 2022 haves glossed over a lot of recent very average or even poor years at underage. No Connacht minor title since 2018. No Connacht U20 title since 2020. Galway have seriously slipped at underage and I don't hear it being addressed much. With the likes of Conroy, Comer and Walsh not having a whole lot of time left playing senior intercounty. It doesn't bode well for replacing them."
I think Galways chance to nick an All Ireland has gone now unflrtunately.

Heard yesterday but assumed it was an April Fools. Will surely take him a while to get upto speed so wouldn't expect much from him too soon. But what a boost to spring from the bench. And if he can nail 45s he could be a starter in latter rounds. We need a consistent 45 taker.

Anything concrete from management confirming it. I only see Galway Beo mentioning it which I would take with a handful of salt

Cooke is returning it's now been confirmed

I wouldn't want to see Comer Walsh and possibly Conroy play on that pitch Sunday

It's a day for the likes of Tierney Thompson Finnerty and Heaney to lead forward line and get ready for the big one v Roscommon.

I think the two O'Cs have not taken opportunities in league I'd like see mannion get some game time seems to have physicality which the two lads just don't seem ready yet.

Just get out of game unscathed and onto Roscommon

It certainly does, but at the same time, is he a better footballer than some we have on the panel currently? Does it strengthen our options by having him available? The answer to both of those is a definite yes, in my opinion. So I'm very glad to hear he's back with us.

Well he is a better shooter from play than 95 per cent of the current panel so that is a starting point.

When we played Galway a few weeks ago you were scoring points from everywhere and Conroy and others were missing.
