No, the Galway Intermediate final is on Sat and I think it is €15 and Senior on Sunday @ €25

Except that's not the case in Galway. Intermediate is on Saturday in Tuam.

The Sunday double header is the junior final and senior. Not sure many will be in at 11:45am to see Menlough play Tuam.

Few tears shed for Michael's this evening by rivals i'd say.

Monivea straight back up fair play to them thought might find it tough without McDaid kilconly have 2 finals in a row lost tough on them but better team won. Shocking for Michael's to go down but should have concentrated on football instead of boardrooms that will hurt with their big pick and underage but they were their own worst enemies.

No tears, but I have a huge amount of sympathy for them. They got 3 points out of a possible 8 in a tough group. Leitir more and spiddal got a total of 2 points 0 out of a possible 20 . Now fair enough st Michael's performances v spiddal and oughterard suggest that they deserved to be relegated but things had gone a bit pear shaped for them at that stage. If the county board had applied the new rule ( which is a really good one in my opinion) they wouldn't have been in this situation. I hope this new rule is applied unilaterally in 2024 as it would prevent a situation like this year where st Michael's were impacted by the fact that tuam played mountbellew when there was not as much at stake for mtbellew. I'm glad Michael's appealled in order to call out the inefficiency of the county board . I accept that the outcome of the appeal was fair enough but at the very least I think st Michael's deserve an apology from the CB, and the rest of us should offer Michael's sympathy., and if not sympathy , certainly not ridicule.

...agreed the rule thing was confusing and they were right to have it reviewed, the county needs Michael's to be playing senior as the city needs teams on the west side, Salthill-Knocknacarra just can't accommodate all the kids that want to play. In the long run Intermediate might not be the worst outcome for them, they can build around the excellent minor winning team they had. They aren't that far off and will be playing division 1 ball next year which will help them develop players against the big boys. Michael's and Kilconly will both be pushing to come up next year.

Very enjoyable first half. Fair play to both sides putting on a display on what is essentially a ploughed field.

Sean Kelly was a massive loss for Moycullen today.

Not well enough to attend but it was a great final but very proud that Moycullen never gave up and have represented our parish with proud.

Well done Corofin. Better team won. They're hopefully in for a long run. The talent on their bench alone is immense.

L Silke switch to dessie changed the game completely. Best defender in the country in my opinion

I've no sympathy for them. The time to appeal was when they were told about the rule being brought in not when they found themselves in relegation. They were well beaten by Leitir Mor, lucky to beat Spiddal and well beaten by Killanin.

I asked on here few weeks ago was Corofin good enough to win the senior title and was greeted with silence.

The answer was yes and did so it appears by coming under the radar which is rare for any Corofin team playing in a final. The ein like most county winners built on solid defence, conceded on average 9 points per game and were on course to holding the defending Connacht champions to probably 0-9 but for the added time goal.

Sean Kelly was a huge loss to Maigh Cuillin. It was also exceptionally tough for Ger Davoren to go out to play today and he did. Huge admiration for them all & the support of the whole community behind them. I can see Corofin going all way now.

Pity match was not on tg4. Very little Galway club matches on the channel. Tá brón orm.
