Replying To Cockney_Cat:  "That's disgraceful and hugely insulting to Antrim and Kerry. It's not as if all the captains need to be in the same spot for a photo nowadays.

Have you a link to the photo? I've googled it but can't find it."
On the GAA twitter page. Or search "Antrim Kerry" on twitter to see the public reactions.

They only need to win 2 games, we need to win 4.

Replying To WEX98:  "I think Shane has been brought back too quickly from injury for both club, county and Fitzgbbon.

He definitely shouldn't have been playing Fitzgibbon this year after coming back to play the the Leinster club final when not fully fit, after playing a good 20 minutes in the county final with a badly injured knee (broken bone and damaged ligamens) after starting that game with a hamstring injury.......#machine"
Is he OK now Wex98?

Replying To Tiger1:  "Why is kilkenny 7/1 odds and we 33/1 after the way we beat them for outright winners don't make sense.."
Because they are already in a semi and can't play Limerick in it.

You get this "nice position" for winning a provincial title.

Absolutely terrible. Whoever organised that photo should be brought to task.
Even if the Kerry or Antrim lads couldn't attend, with modern technology it would be a simple job to include their images on the picture.
Definitely an insult to both teams.

Replying To ChinCanHurl:  "I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone in the country apart from yourself that thinks Chin is a better hurler than Tony Kelly, he'd probably laugh at the notion himself. I love Chin, one of if not my favourite Wexford hurler ever, a complete class act but I don't think he's at Tony's level."
The comparison is skewed. Different type of players. The important thing is either can be a game changer for their team on any given day. That's all matters to Wexford and Clare.

Replying To Viking66:  "Chin is definitely our most influential player. Rory is a completely different sort of hurler."
Chin right now is much more important to us, but Rory is an infinitely superior hurler

Article from Chin in the Independent.
Not a word about him being out for up to 2 years with a knee problem. Where do these stories come from?

Yes when Chin started out he looked a cut above all others and no doubt injury set him back. He is a big strong forceful player like Gleeson. Albeit with different temperament. I often think if Gleeson had some of Chin's temperament and Chin had a little of Gleeson devilment both might be the better for it. I do believe a fully heathy Chin would put himself about more. He can not risk it but that may change down the road.

Team named. No complacency from Egan thats pretty much our strongest possible as Shane Reck is only fit enough for the bench. Hopefully the players follow his lead now.

As expected strong team announced for today
I was a little surprised at Kevin Foley named at centre forward. Kevin hasn't regained his form of the past but maybe he's doing well in training.
Jacko will have to pull his socks up too. Perhaps he's a bit lucky to be in the first 15.
With plenty of talent on the bench we should have too much in the tank against what i think will be a no nonsense battling Kerry side.
Best of luck lads.

Best of luck to the lads today. Hoping for a solid performance to set us up for next week. On the way to Tralee now hoping for a decent Wexford crowd down here

Thought Kevin had a good enough game against Kilkenny. Watched it back again last night he covered alot of ground but played more like a traditional midfielder position. He didn't get on much ball but Cody took off Murphy before Egan took Kevin off.

Lovely clinical performance to set us up for a right crack at Clare.

Is the game definitely in Cork?

Delighted with the performance . Hopefully the injuries to Dunbar and O Keeffe aren't serious . Rory took a lot of punishment too.

Double header in Thurles according to south east hopefully that's the case
