The Provincials were poor enough as per usual, with the Championship only saved by the semi finals and final. So all in all you would have to say that it was a poor enough championship in general, as even with the qualifiers, for years outside of their own counties, people have little or no interest until we get to the quarters or semis. Time for a change!! gilly1910 (Galway) - Posts: 170 - 15/09/2021 10:16:45 2380813 Link 0 |
Obviously from a Tyrone perspective next season is really exciting, every team in Ulster anyway will be desperate to beat us which is great. I suppose learning from previous champions it will be important for Tyrone to breed 1 or 2 new players into the starting team. Dublin done this brilliantly over the past 6 years and i think we will see starting roles for Canavan, McShane and perhaps Donaghy next year. TakeyourPoint. Watched a few myself. Thought your games against Donegal and Monaghan were competitive games to watch. Donegal Derry also. So Id say the answer to your question of the other lad is no!

I watched all the Ulster championship games both deferred and live matches on the BBC and both the games and coverage were top notch, ye have a brilliant competition like munster in the hurling, maybe the way to go is leave ulster as is and create 1 provincial championship out of the other 3 provinces , say Cork Kerry Clare Galway Mayo Roscommon dublin kildare Meath.

firstly with regards to the 2021 season..my initial aim was to hope that i could attend atleast one game in person and thankfully i acheived that and more...from where we were at the start of the year with regards covid, its almost a miracle that i was able to go to an all ireland final which is a day ill cherish, despite the result...onwards and upwards to 2022 when hopefully things dont go south and full capacity games are back... pidge (Cork) - Posts: 543 - 18/09/2021 15:48:16 2381469 Link 0 |
