Great All Ireland win for Tyrone this year but sorry, Dubs will fix whatever went wrong this year, and they'll fix it right quick.

Dont think bonner is the right man for it and while mcguinness would make a impact I don't think he's the right person either given the way football has changed."
I think it's been changing bit by bit and Tyrone winning the All Ireland finally shows Ulster football is getting stronger again.

Yes Dublin were pretty much unstoppable in championship football during the 6 in a row years but the Ulster results against other counties showed the province were a good bit back.

It isn't a criticism against Donegal, they were able to compete and beat Tyrone, winning Ulster championships and may on a given day do the same within Ulster over the next few years but I don't see Donegal getting up to the level Tyrone got to when it comes to crunch All Ireland series games, they competed with Tyrone at the level they were both at but levels have now changed.

Derry should have beat Donegal this year and I think we'll find Tyrone and Donegal will head in completly opposite directions for a few years whilst Donegal rebuild.

Not so fast buddy, Kerry are mad as hell. Tyrone won this year because they are the best team in Ireland.
For the first time in decades we have 3 or 4 real contenders. Hoping my county (Galway) wake up.
Credit to Mayo for opening up the whole thing.
The fielding by Kilpatrick was magic in the final. Morgan is the best keeper also.
Gaelic football was the winner here.
2022 is going to be interesting.

I disagree, I think Dublin will take 2/3 years and they are entering a rebuilding phase, they have lost too many players and don't have enough impact off the bench. They should have been beaten by Meath who were caught out on how bad they where. A great team but they always had game changers on the bench which they have lost. Also in terms of fitness the rest of the country has caught up

I suppose it's worth saying that Tyrone are now the team of the decade ;)

Just thinking today Tyrone are All Ireland Champions and there's hardly a mention of them in the media, if Mayo had of won it RTE would be spouting out news stories and reports from every town and village in Mayo, oul lads on crying about how great it is etc etc, David Brady etc all spouting ***** on every radio station, thank God Tyrone won it, it would have been harder to listen to than England winning the Euro's.

It is strange in fairness, they won the game , and won it well,it was one of the most comprehensive final wins in 15 years but Tyrone are almost being treated like the also rans.
In work, among friends etc Mayo are the only team being talked about, although tbh I don't think Tyrone would want to be talked about the way Mayo are being talked about now.

Great day for Tyrone and I'm glad we won it under the old sudden death rules which we had never done before . On the 30th anniversary of Down's win in 1991 this year was a throw back to that Ulster Championship era when Down, Derry, Armagh and Tyrone all thought they could win the All-Ireland if they could get out of Ulster. Certainly Donegal, Monaghan or Armagh could all easily tip Tyrone out of Ulster next year.

I know people made a big deal about Tyrone's loss to Kerry in the league overlooking that once again it is a Division One team wins the championship. Division One next year will be very tough but it is where you must play your football.
