The death of Brendan is heartbreaking for family.
Monaghan GAA is stunned.
I know Monaghan could not get the Armagh game postponed.
That decision had been made by the powers that be in the Ulster Council.
This reflects poorly on the GAA who are portrayed as the heart of community's.
God send strength and love to Brendans family. God love them on these their darkest time.
Go bhfanfaidh anam Brendan Óg i suaimhneas

Horrible news. Deepest sympathy to his family. I was following the Monaghan U20 v Donegal game on twitter and saw how Monaghan turned it around to win .Who could have known the tragedy that would later unfold. It's quite shocking.

Just tragic , condolences to his family friends and teammates. Fair play to the senior team for pulling a win out of the bag under terrible circumstances.
