U20 Football Final

This should be a good match. Dublin seem to be strong and Galway seem to have a very strong panel after the performance against Kerry and winning the Connacht title. All the talk of Dublin underage there probably be only one winner but we seem to be quietly confident here in Galway.

Always liked Galway football, entertaining to watch, apart from the defensive stuff in the recent past. Galway have as big a chance as Dublin. Best wishes to the maroon brigade.

It was very impressive that Galway were able to change I think 9 of their team for the Kerry game due to Covid and still come out on top of that one. I've seen the Dub's U20's earlier this year when they gave us a spanking (again) in Parnell Park and would fancy them to just about win it. I'd expect it to be close, hopefully a good game and best of luck to both of them.

Good luck to our neighbours Galway in the u20 final today. Hopefully it will be a Connacht double.

We've some strong players at this grade that will go on but some collective not so strong lines, good characters and fighting spirit as well.

Whatever happens we can be proud and hopeful of this group.

Collectively i think Galway might be the better team, but the grade is always difficult to judge.

Best of luck to both teams, really looking forward to this.

Loosening everything in the middle and our own kick out, that's a huge depleting factor in the game, if we can stop, if we stop getting cleaned out their we can take this to the melting pot second half. Two evenly matched teams apart from that factor.

Overall licking my lips here, we're going to get some good senior players from this group.

Some work rate from both sides here, epic tackling. Must say that I wouldn't mind a second look at the frees in the last ten minutes, Dublin in particular seem a bit hard done by on a couple of occasions.

If you don't setup right against the blanket it's still a highly effective way of winning games

Congratulations to Galway on a deserved victory

The game reminded me of the days when Dublin couldn't handle the blanket and just ran into swarm tackles, playing right into our oppositions game plan

Galway were massively disciplined and skillful

Completely deserved

Congratulations to Galway GAA

Great contest, well done to Galway, we were a little clueless up front but will learn from that.

On balance, I think Galway would have felt hard done by with some earlier decisions that went against them. The better team won, despite losing two good players to injury.

Galway got anything that was in it, but that last call was ok imo, the Dublin player was clearly intent on winning a free.

Congratulations to Galway. Thought the Dubs were hard done by myself by the ref but Galway just about deserved it.

Shocking we have to stop all this money funding Galway
Winning All Ire at u20 and reaching 3 o the last 4 Minor finals
Galway Minors winning 3 in a row in hurling
And soon to win the u 20 hurling All Ire

also, the main takeaway from this is that Dublin did not get away with short kick outs. The Galway backs won it. Gaillimh Abu

2 clear frees for fouls not given on Sweeney and Tierney late in the first half both in areas where Culhane or Tierney would point a free.
