Thought it what a title for the top article in the naín forum! Fair play, we need a bit of cheering up. I have a ghrá for Cavan but the head says Monaghan. It'll be tight but Monaghan will pull away late on. Mc manus still playing well the winner will be looking at an Ulster final appearance. Taught Cavan were very poor against a weakened Roscommon side at the weekend but Monaghan had an even worse result drawing against a brutal Meath team. Cavan blew monaghan away last year with the game being over as a contest by half time. Huge challenge for an aging monaghan side with just one forward and him near enough retirement. Cavan hot favourites for this one. Hopefully we can make it competitive this year for them. The were far from whipping boys just slightly off the pace for division 1. They lost badly in the their first two games but after that they were only a few points off and got the draw v Monaghan.
