A new champion will be crowned this year Pretty harsh on Kilmacud Crokes who are still in it. Kurt_Angle (Dublin) - Posts: 567 - 23/10/2019 11:03:08 2245174 Link 1 |
Bit of a stinker from whoever did the write-up: "A new champion will be crowned this year, as holders St Vincents were eliminated...". St Vincent's won it it 2016 and 2017; Crokes won it last year.

Looking like dunloy will win the Ulster hurling, they are a seriously powerful outfit and I can really see them competing in all Ireland. Antrimroad (Down) - Posts: 119 - 28/10/2019 09:25:03 2246229 Link 0 |

Austin Stacks. They won the senior club championship in April.

Round 3 in the Donegal senior club championship this evening. Both teams are so evenly balanced. It could come down to whichever team has recovered better after last Sunday's exertions. Odhran McFadden-Ferry is likely to come back in for Gaoth Dobhair. He'll bring a lot of energy to them. Brick Molloy might also be pushing for a start with Glenties having made a notable contribution when introduced last time out. Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 9073 - 30/10/2019 10:02:06 2246586 Link 0 |
Great to see St Mullins win in the Leinster Hurling Championship - a victory for the ordinary club. Huawei the lads!!! Offside_Rule (Antrim) - Posts: 4058 - 04/11/2019 11:12:27 2247607 Link 5 |

Hats off to Naomh Conaill. Getting themselves up again to win in Ulster after 3 epic finals. Fantastic effort. I didn't give them a hope I have to be honest.

Dunloy yesterday demonstrated EVERYTHING that is is wrong with Gaelic Games in Antrim. They have better, more talented hurlers than Slaughtneil BUT they don't have what the Derry men have. They don't have the heart, fight, stomach and belief that gets you over the line. From start to finish Dunloy were bullied, controlled and dominated by Slaughtneil and the North Antrim men couldn't handle it. As a Belfast Gael I don't want to hear any more nonsense about the big, hard tough North Antrim men. Yesterday Dunloy were pussycats. Congratulations to St Thomas's on winning the Galway Hurling County Final on Sunday. Two in a row. Great achievement. They play the Munster Champions next. Trump2020 (Galway) - Posts: 2100 - 11/11/2019 23:53:58 2249174 Link 0 |
Templenoe of Kerry will be strong favourites for the Intermediate Football. However do not be surprised if Mattock Rangers from Louth end up as Champions, great club, great team, great football people around Collon. MillerX (Meath) - Posts: 1058 - 12/11/2019 09:42:56 2249191 Link 1 |
Fairytale stuff by Borris-Ileigh in making the Munster club final. They left down an early marker by beating Clonoulty. I thought Kilruane or Kiladangan would win tipp but in fairness to Borris they beat the two of them. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 12/11/2019 12:06:16 2249224 Link 0 |
The Kerry Intermediate Champions should always be favourites for the All-Ireland. 8th/9th best club team in a county as strong as Kerry gotta be heavy favourites for me. Plus Templenoe really look strong. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13693 - 12/11/2019 12:15:43 2249226 Link 4 |
Tis actually Michael McShane. The article on HS had the wrong name yesterday though I see it has since been corrected. He's a Ballycastle (Antrim) man.
