Yes, I really fear for Dublin. A lot of their players are long in the tooth. Cork are coming up to Croke park with big wins over Laois and Limerick. I hope that home advantage will be a mitigating factor against overwhelming Cork class. Rockies (Cork) - Posts: 947 - 07/07/2019 21:03:05 2207381 Link 7 |
On this Summer's form,Donegal should win their group.Runner up spot between Kerry and Mayo .

Yerra I'd have to agree with u, two from Donegal/Mayo/Meath on one side, Tyrone and Cork I reckon the other. I'll go for a Donegal v Tyrone final, sure twould be a great occasion, Tyrone to win by 10 and the Kingdom pick the 6 in a row minor.

I'd be more concerned about the state of Galway football at the minute rather then fretting about how the Connacht champions will fare in the Super 8s. Enjoy watching the next few weeks at home while the big boys battle it out.

Mayo are battle hardened. A very difficult opponent.

Perhaps you ought to stop trying to control peoples' responses and what they write about here.

I predict Dubs will have a lacklustre Super 8s, and I also predict they won't make AI final. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4953 - 07/07/2019 21:44:48 2207438 Link 3 |
Absolutely, we have nothing to lose at this point, just enjoy these 3 games and see what happens.

Kerry are div 1 runners up and in good form. Mayo are in good recent form despite a load of injuries and a defeat to Ross. Dl are in good recent form but played in 2nd division this spring. Hard to pick from those 3 but u will have better idea on favorite after next sunday

Yep thats true, it's just my opinion that kerry are overrated, will be tight between the 3 of them all the same

Cork have momentum now, and a taste of Croker. They'll fly out of the traps and we're gonna have to be very careful! realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8746 - 07/07/2019 22:14:25 2207471 Link 10 |
Precisely. Management players and fans can relax. I hope the players have a great night tonight, they absolutely deserve it. We are in total bonus territory. Not one bit of pressure, go out and enjoy themselves and express themselves on the pitch

I really believe Cork could be a real banana skin for Dublin next Sunday. While I would never bet against the Dubs I reckon Cork to win at 16/1 is the best value bet next weekend.

Cork going for the double...bit is between their teeth. Dubs on Saturday and Cats on Sunday. Murphy's will be flying Rockies (Cork) - Posts: 947 - 07/07/2019 22:37:15 2207487 Link 0 |
Will Cork gamble on resting players in phase 1? If Cork can shock Tyrone in phase 2, they'll be home in phase 3 chasing a semi-final spot.

No harm but, Rocommon, cork and meath are cannon fodder. Donegal or kerry to exit next. Shood (Tyrone) - Posts: 2 - 07/07/2019 23:26:01 2207515 Link 0 |
If Carlsberg did All-Irelands wins, a Mayo win would look like this from here on and make up for lots of heartbreak at final and semi-final stage over the last 30 years: Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 08/07/2019 05:31:55 2207550 Link 0 |
