Sublime from Kerry. Moran is just a collosus. Jackeen (Dublin) - Posts: 4097 - 14/07/2019 16:51:26 2210802 Link 5 |
He lacks too much pace I love seeing him midfield.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that was deliberate

Mayo absolutely cleaned at midfield The_Biler (Westmeath) - Posts: 84 - 14/07/2019 16:54:53 2210809 Link 0 |
Pure mess of a performance by mayo their kickouts ,foot passing all round play has been atrocious the amount of needless frees they have given away has been criminal plus they have bad q few soft ones against them but saying that Kerry have been unreal today and unplayable Galwayjoe86 (Galway) - Posts: 258 - 14/07/2019 17:20:49 2210819 Link 0 |
Kerry being Kerry I suppose. Another earwigging episode here by the looks of it. seanie_boy (Tyrone) - Posts: 4235 - 14/07/2019 17:31:24 2210824 Link 0 |
Congratulations to Kerry. Emphatic win today. We've a lot of lessons to learn before next Sunday. Hopefully we can do that. GreenandRed (Mayo) - Posts: 7345 - 14/07/2019 17:43:09 2210831 Link 7 |
Cliffords free in the first half. OMG what a score. I borrow a soccer phrase used many moons ago DLlegends (Donegal) - Posts: 503 - 14/07/2019 17:44:37 2210832 Link 2 |
Kerry look really good, they gotta be favourites for Sam after that! realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8592 - 14/07/2019 17:46:18 2210835 Link 6 |
Seems to be the end of the road for this Mayo team. I believe they were one of the greatest teams ever but never seemed to get that little bit of luck that you need to get just reward for their brilliance. neverright (Roscommon) - Posts: 1648 - 14/07/2019 17:50:04 2210836 Link 1 |
Yep. The only midfield he's gotten the better of in a big game recently was Dublin in 2016 replay.

Why does Clarke keep kicking it out to him? He's cleaning up and Clarke kept going to Moran's side. Madness

Maybe need Kerry to beat Donegal and I wouldn't bet against mayo beating Donegal in McHale park which won't be easy tho potentially setting up a semi final with Dublin and if that happened I wouldn't see anything but a convincing Dublin win similar to what happened today . Who knows. The definition of madness. I'd say Moran didnt know his luck at all.

As expected Kerry won. Looks like Donegal v Kerry next week to see who tops the Group! katser (Galway) - Posts: 2198 - 14/07/2019 18:11:45 2210851 Link 1 |
High conditioning level was a big calling card for Mayo but on the evidence of today that advantage they had up to two years ago now seems to be gone as a lot of their players especially their 30 years olds are showing a lot of wear and tear. Mayo looked like a division 3 team today. They'll have a long journey home after that for sure. Everything they did looked slow and they looked completely out of their depth. Kerry will be favorites after that walkover. catch22 (USA) - Posts: 2148 - 14/07/2019 18:36:21 2210866 Link 0 |
He only played midfield against us in '13.
