Donegal will play Dublin in the All-Ireland Gaelic Masters Football Championship final after both sides won their respective semi-finals on Saturday.

Donegal booked their place in the Dr Mickey Loftus Cup decider with a 1-6 to 0-7 win over Kerry in Claregalway.

Kerry led by 0-7 to 0-4 at the halfway stage, but Brendan Boyle’s goal and the points of Damien Browne, who finished with 0-6, powered the Tir Chonaill men to victory after an impressive second-half.

In Kilcullen, Dublin were comfortable in a 3-18 to 0-10 win against Waterford to book their place in the final, while Meath and Roscommon are now through to the Masters Shield final.

John L Magee bagged both goals in Dowdallshill as Meath defeated Armagh by 2-10 to 0-14 after extra time, with Roscommon seeing off Monaghan on a 2-13 to 2-8 scoreline in Edgeworthstown.

Tyrone booked their place in the Plate final thanks to a 4-14 to 0-12 win over Limerick in Athlone. Winners of the last five Dr Mickey Loftus Cups, the Red Hands will now face neighbours Derry in the Plate decider after the latter’s 3-13 to 2-11 victory against Sligo in Castlefin.
