Former Kilkenny U20 boss Mark Dowling has been appointed as the new senior hurling manager of Naas.
The Dicksboro clubman guided his home county to Leinster U20 glory last year ahead of the team’s run to the All-Ireland final where they were beaten by Tipperary.
Dowling succeeds Tom Mulally in his new role, with the latter having steered the Kildare club to six consecutive county senior titles along with All-Ireland and Leinster club IHC crowns.
It’s also been confirmed that Thurles Sarsfields’ Ciaran Treacy will be Naas’s new head coach, having previous worked under Dowling with the Kilkenny U20s and Sarsfields seniors.
