Kilbrittain (Cork) advanced to the All-Ireland club junior hurling championship final thanks to a 2-15 to 1-16 win over Davidstown-Courtnacuddy (Wexford) in Clonmel this afternoon.
Conor Hogan’s goal in the run up to half-time saw the Cork champions edging a 1-8 to 0-10 lead at the interval and their second goal would arrive eight minutes into the restart via Luke Griffin.
Davidstown kept right in the fight right to the end, but it was their west Cork counterparts that advanced towards All-Ireland final date with Easkey of Sligo on the weekend of January 10/11th.

The Connacht champions needed extra time to overcome Burt (Donegal) by 4-23 to 1-22 in Ballyshannon to book their second Croke Park date in four years.
Playing against a strong wind in the first-half, the visitors trailed by 0-14 to 2-5 at half-time with Andrew Kilcullen bagging both of their goals.
Kilcullen’s points would help move Easkey into the lead and they’d increase it by five before the home side came with a late push, including a Conor Garland goal in the 59th minute, as they forced extra time.
The added periods saw Padraig Mannion’s men dominate, with Sligo ace Kilcullen firing in two more goals to bring his personal tally to 4-10 and help see his side comfortably through to their All-Ireland final showdown next month.
