Dublin are a hard watch at times. Set plays after the buzzer sums them up

A terrible performance from Dublin, they could have won that game but poor shooting and awful decision making by some experienced players.

Congrats to Tyrone. The better team won. Dublin have not yet learned to adapt to the new rules. The failure of our forwards to take on two pointers is shocking. OUr bench is very poor by comparison.

Mickey Harte for Dublin.

Awful, had enough ball to win that. We're way off the 'new' game. Time for a fresh start.

Commiseration today and the best of luck to Dessie in the future.

Dessie took on the unenviable task of managing the Dubs after the golden years.

Dessie managed to lead his beloved Dubs to two All Irelands aswell as success as under 21 and minor manager.

A great player and a great manager but most of all a man that was gracious in victory and always a gentleman in defeat.
Enjoy your break Dessie.

Looks like Dessie has stepped down.

Great words sir. He should go down as a great manager. Sadly time is the killer.

I hope the thought of meeting Tyrone again doesn't keep you awake at night.

That was a very classy statement by Dessie. Best of luck to him in the future.

Tyrone don't worry me as mush as Armagh/ Kerry or Galway. If we meet in the semi final I would fancy our chances as long as we don't concede soft goals like we did against Tyrone in Ballybofey.

Tyrone came out on top but there was nothing between the two teams. Dublin missed more and Tyrone did what they did to Kerry in the 08 final in the last 5 minutes, they hit a 5 minute purple patch.

Nail on the head right there.

Very sloppy and some silly turnovers, and crazy shot selection at times.

We panicked near the end when we went 3 behind.
It felt like we could have played until midnight, and not get to score a 2 pointer.

We clearly did not adapt to the new rules this year, unlike many of the other teams.

It looked like we have not been coached or trained for 2 pointers.
It was glaring. Tyrone got 6 of them. I dont think we got any 2 pointers today.

One for the statisticians out there, Dublin much be one of the lowest 2 point scorers in the Championship this year.
We have definitely scored very few.

That game was there for the taking - a fit Con and we would have won it imo.

But taking absolutely nothing from Tyrone.
Well done to them.

Yes, Dessie is gone.

Great servant to Dublin GAA.

Won 2 All Ireland's as a manager inc the one during Covid.
IMO he actually under achieved with the players we had, but that is for another day.
But he did win perhaps the sweetest of the all in 2023.

A gentleman and humble in both victory and defeat.

Thanks Dessie.
