Pat Spillane not holding back on the Dubs...! ;o)"
hahah good old Spillane!

"Tyrone with two weeks break, in the long grass, written off, the hype is starting to get behind the Dubs again. A shock could be on the cards." - I'd love to know where he's seeing this hype about the Dubs... everyone including himself seem to have written us off!

I think we could make the "ordinary team" comment about most counties in the country this year if they lost their talisman. Take Clifford out of Kerry, Murphy out of Donegal, Walsh out of Galway etc.

Chris Crummey has failed in his appeal.
His one match suspension was upheld by the Central Hearings Committee tonight.

He seems to forget that a young Dubs team with no Con turned around a 12 point half-time deficit to beat Kerry in Tralee in Feb. If the Dubs are ordinary without Con then I'm not sure what that makes his county :)

Eh, no. Whitehall hurlers perhaps. Dublin backs are fine.

Strong enough panel again. I'd expect Con to come in for O'Dell most likely presuming he's in some way fit. Good to see his brother on the bench too, I wonder could he see some minutes. I do rate him based on his club performances for Cuala but would be a big ask to lob him in at this stage I suppose.

Feeling quietly confident about this now.

Good solid defence and you'd imagine Con be on if he's in subs list.

Hard to believe that Stephen Cluxton made his championship debut in goal for Dublin on 27th May 2001.
Absolutely bonkers - 24 years ago.

9 All Ireland medals
18 Leinsters
5 League medals
7 All Stars
Footballer of the Year

He will be 44 this year. Most likely his final season playing for the Dubs.

I think he might also have a couple of O'Byrne Cup winners medals (that he's probably long forgotten about)

Was it 7 of those 9 AI winners medals as Captain?

And, he should be at least in double figures for All Stars! Was well rode a few times!

Some haul! Be difficult for anyone to ever get near that!

Might there be one final addition to come!?

Thats some medal haul, To play intercounty football at the highest level for 24 years in this day and age is incredible, Well done Stephen I doubt we'll ever see the likes of that again.

Yes, O'Byrne Cup, Leinster u21, Leinster minor, and a Sigerson Cup medal also.

He didnt win an All Star 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2020.....

Some medal haul, and some longevity.

Would be great to see him winning a record 10th All Ireland medal before he retires.

Anybody else having issues buying tickets for the hurling semi finals. I have a code from the club for ticketmaster and it is showing plenty of seats left, but every time I go to buy tickets I get an error code U001. I googled that error but could be anything from them thinking I'm a bot to sold out to site issues.

It took me a right few attempts to buy mine through Parnell Pass and DCB probably have same arrangement with them for clubs.

Same as that, refused to accept details i have used since 2011. They are a curse and should be cut out. No need at all for GAA to be diverting our own members through this crowd.

I think the Dublin v Tyrone game could go right to the wire today.

It got me thinking - it is not often the Dublin Hurlers got further than or lasted longer in the Championship, than our Footballers. I am sure the statisticians out there will have examples of it.

A slippy surface in Croker is sure to add to uncertain outcome of the games this weekend.

That's typical of the GAA for you Barney… they think of anyone and anything ( especially money ) rather than the supporters…!!!
