Looking forward to the trip to portlaois today. As someone said it could be January before we see them play again. I think if we can get Daire cregg and the tow murtaghs scoring with enda then we can win. i see goals in this game today for both teams. Best of luck to the lads and hopefully we will all have a busy weekend next weekend following minors and seniors

Huge improvement needed in 2nd half. Cork forwards are causing a lot of trouble. Hurley has the beating Iof Stack so far. Too many turnovers and we are being punished every time. We have the bit of breeze for 2nd half but unless we change something at midfield and kickouts again, 2025 will end today.

Absolutely gutted. Thought we showed great fight, improved at midfield but our forwards are drained of confidence. It's been a trend for a while now but butchering chances has put us under pressure at the other end. Seemed to be pure panic in the ranks at the end then. Going through by drawing the game i don't think would have done us any favours. No win bar London since beginning of March is depressing. I'm sure no one more deflated than the players, they've put in huge commitment.

On the wrong end of a fine margin contest again bad habits hard to break. Cork had 4 point the cushion at half-time and that left us chasing the game 2nd half. A one on one goal chance at least 4 late effort for 2 pointers could have got a draw at least out of that game but all that would give is extra week and a likely bigger defeat against a better team than Cork.

That's the end of road for Davy Burke in truth he was done regardless of how we finished in championship. No easy task for the next management starting out in Division 1. Lastly thanks to all the players for the time and effort put in this year they'll be the ones most disappointed tonight.

Arguably the strongest panel we've had together for many years and that's our lot? 1 win in last 9 games, that against London. Fell over the line to get promoted. I hear Davy talking about people disregarding the promotion but that was the absolute minimum of what was expected of us this year. All things considered it has to go down as one of the most disappointing seasons in a long time. I really hope these players give whoever comes in now a chance and commit to another year. If they don't then nobody can begrudge them. Thanks to all the players for their efforts all year.

Wait till you hear why some players were not selected by Davy or dropped by him.

Season has been a disaster and it's time for a change of management. As davy mentioned earlier in the season we had no business being in a league final and now we no have business progressing any further in the championship. Yes we showed a bit of fight in the second half. But throughout the season the defending has been so navie. Mgt clearly haven't adapted to these new rules and haven't got the best out of key players. On a positive we have d1 football so hopefully this will help when trying to get the best mgt out there.

Is Jack Duggan still part of the aquad. Clonguish will be a serious side when he comes back.

Davy Burke has done a lot for Roscommon football. H e deserves another year

Another season passes us by and it's the same old disappointment. The reality is we have regressed badly over the past two years, in a time we should have been kicking on with our big players in their prime. Yes, we were promoted to D1 this year, but stumbling over the line in the manner we did can't be ignored.

At least Burke leaves Roscommon in Div 1 it's the best environment to live and learn.

Both and Roscommon and Cork are filled with talented players but are two poorly managed teams, good news for Roscommon is they can move on now with new management and improved one if the Roscommon county board are up to the task? Cork no doubt delighted to get through but are probably left with Cleary for another year now.

Tell us then instead of hinting.
Bad team selections, no change of playing style for the new rules, poor forwards performances, obviously all not well in the camp.

One kick of a ball in it in the last two matches against Meath and Cork but it was not to be. No shortage of effort and the disappointment on the faces on the players after the match said it all. Thanks lads for your serious dedication during the year and particularly to those who might make a decision to retire after many years of putting on a Roscommon jersey and doing yourself, family, club and county proud. Don't rush into any decision at the moment as we will need some experience in division 1 next year.

B&B in Cork; you got it spot on when you said " Cork by 2". Best of luck in the rest of the championship.
