Offaly as bad as that Clare team we faced in the league. Bigger challenges in Leinster await. Big games ahead not going to get carried away with that result. Absolutely delighted to see Whelan moved out the pitch, he was shackled inside.

Surely Daithi's red will be overturned. Saw clip on social media, am I blind or what was it actually for. There was no intent?

Looks like the last game v Dublin will be a Leinster Semi Final!"
We'll have to wait and see.

A lad told us that BEFORE the match, and you labelled it 'lazy synopsis'.

Can't believe how bad Offaly were tbh. I thought they would bring a lot more to the game, not specifically quality, but heart and fight. Shocking

I agree with you, we could possibly end up in a Leinster Final and actually win it. After the shambles of a League and start to the Leinster Championship this run of Offaly, Wexford, Antrim and Dublin respectively suits us!

Agree Mo Chara but it's a huge game at home next week to kickstart the chain of events. Here is hoping

I'm not sure if you follow football, but Roberto Manchi took over the Italian National Team and they were a shambles.
His fuliocty was to get the team winning again so he started playing games against poor teams.....San Marino Bolivia, Faroe Islands, Andorra ect ect, next thing they had won 8/9 games on the spin.
Confident and strong the team grew and went over 30 games unbeatable to become Champions of Europe.
Start low finish high!

Replying To Viking66:  "Never mind the distant past Katser. It wont have any bearing on tomorrow's game. If you look at the last 5 years Offaly have the same amount of silverware at Senior as ourselves and yourselves. But they have also won 2 Leinster u20s and an AI u20."
The standard on display there yesterday was intermediate. Offaly were poor and Galway, apart from C Mannion and Molloy, were no great shakes either.

After the loss to Dublin Wexford will be chomping at the bit in Salthill. I'd call it a must-win for them as they still have to play KK. Galway finally get a home game and need to make it count. Should be a great match. I hope both teams have all their players. Hon Galway!

You obviously haven't been to either Nowlan Park or
O' Connor Park. I haven't seen Dublin or Wexford so far this year but the standard on offer in Tullamore yesterday was disappointing for both sets of supporters.

Offaly beat Dublin in the 2025 NHL a few months back, and led them in the LHC quite late on recently, losing to a late Dublin flurry. Dublin and Wexford are a live part of this 'disappointing standard' therefore, on all known form at least.

Offaly haven't been in the LHC since 2018. Dublin beat them by 17 points, after leading by 8 at halftime.
Dublin should've beaten Waterford in the League this year really, Waterford had a late surge to nick it in the end.

I've no idea what your talking about? I was referring to Dublin 1-25 Offaly 2-19 in LHC played about 10 days ago.

10 days ago yeah. 19th of April at 6pm to be precise, if you're still confused.

Is it not called the Leinster Hurling Championship LHC anymore? I thought Offaly were in it this year, or has there been a name change? Does LHC no longer apply?
