Clare have moved quickly to appoint Paul Madden as their new senior football manager in succession to Peter Keane.
Former Kerry boss Keane vacated the role last weekend after only one season in charge and the Banner have wasted no time in finding a replacement. Madden spent eight years in charge of Éire Óg, during which he guided the Ennis club to three Clare SFC titles. He has been appointed for a three-year term.
His management team will be confirmed over the coming weeks.
"Paul is a wonderful ambassador for Clare football and has brought sustained success to his club Éire Óg at senior level," a Clare GAA statement read.
