Very well said sir! Totally agree as I'm sure the vast majority of posters will as well. Terrible stuff!

Let me be clear. Rathoath, and cilles are NOT HAPPY, with current senior management and summerhill are not either. I never said it's the delegates. I said the general members of club. Now my name is known. So I'll await the solicitor letter and I will gladly return in kind with the names of those who said to me they not happy.

The team seems to be completely wide open down the center. There is a real risk of Down scoring goal after goal on the counter while we kick the ball away into their deep defensive structure. McGill a massive loss and a blot on COR's copy book. At same though, encouraging to see so many of the squad staying on for the Tailteann Cup. I thought we might see an exodus. That's a positive sign.

There are how many thousand club members in Ratoath and St Colmcille? And you have spoken to all of them or a majority of them to categorically state (in capital letters no less!) that the 'general members' are NOT HAPPY with Colm O'Rourke??!! Look, I'll leave it at that. Crinigan (Meath) - Posts: 1352 - 23/05/2023 11:37:18 2480823 Link 14 |
I think Ratoath are happy enough to have the majority of their players available to them in the league!! Haha!

Well I won't. As they are not happy. You can pretend and deflect all you want. This is the general view amongst majority of Meath supporters. They feel we have gone backwards. If you can't see that then you are deluded

RD you can't become a spokesperson for clubs. You might have heard it from a few club people in those clubs but that doesn't mean that the club as a whole (delegates and general members) think. This is the same type of stuff people done against Andy and you rightly had a go at them. You're better than that, stick to the action on the pitch

I was asked a question and I answered it. Then others took up their agenda. But I will try to stick to what's on the pitch.

Your focus is a bit narrow. Far more than these clubs are not happy. Anyone with any interest in Meath Football can see there is no interest in doing the many detailed tasks needed to run a County team. When the man says he is not interested in the job it should have been left at that. pushing or pulling a man into the hotseat is not best practice. How would Ashbourne or Dunboyne or Summerhill or any of our Clubs be happy with it. Except of course our Dublin club members who failed to buy into their adopted community, They love a sneer at Meaths expense.

As I said it was lads and ladies from these who said it to me. Let me just clear up the summerhill one. As it was someone from rathoath who said they were not happy that's why I didn't include them as definitive . So not from the club. The others would be people of high standing in cilles and hard working member of rathoath. I can add that my home club after been out there last Sunday for a memorial mass are extremely disappointed with how things have gone this year. Happy for our man to play but feel we are rudderless
