Richie only told them over the weekend so I cant see any truth in this. Gallagher might step up and into the managers role. Knows the players and the transition would be easy. However if they are all stepping away Paul Curran would be a good guy for any club to get.

No it's not, stop writing nonsense. I've been involved with the appointments of many managers and none were engaged that quickly.

Yea it would be a good watch. To see, how the most successful senior football club the last 10 years and current hurling champs operate. Can't start a fire without a spark

I can't for the life of me understand why people have such a hangup about Ratoath. They have proved over the past 6 years what a great club they are winning senior football and hurting championships. I wish we knew their secret to success and on top of this most of their players are dual. They are really a remarkable bunch of lads. We should be applauding the club on their success instead of begrudging them

I was commending ratoath and thought that was obvious. Have personally nothing to do with ratoath,. Just as yourself thought was a bit rich others acting as if changing a manager a big deal. When most clubs change every 2 years at this stage nearly given the time commitments required.

I agree changing a manager ever 2 years or so not unusual but to be fair changing the manager every year for 4 or 5 years in a row I think would be classed as unusual so it's not surprising that it would get people talking. Don't think anyone was bashing Ratoath though.

Yes I was not referring to your comment but rather the other comments, There are a lot of jealous people on here complaining about clubs that appear to be doing well. Congratulations to them I say ,we need to aspire to be better that them rather this begrdgery.

Is the Ratoath Club the Role Model for other clubs? A number of years back they were a junior team that played in Div 4. I would put a lot of there success down to the fact that the area saw a massive growth in population. In fact Id say that they have underachieved since then. Don't get me wrong when I say that but there are clubs out there who are having a lot of success with out the same growth in Population. One would argue that with all there playing numbers we haven't really seen that transfer to the County team for long sustained periods.

Smaller clubs even around the area are probably doing far better with the resources that they have.

Curraha, Wolfe Tones & Ballinbrackey would probably be ahead of them in terms of Clubs who did a lot more with less of everything. And If I go down the grades you would find a few more.

3 Senior football championships
1 Senior hurling championship

Their second football team have won premier the last 2 years
Minor winners this year
Lots of other success

As a Curraha man - I'm glad they have underachieved - my school days would have been unbearable had they been successful!!!
