Absolutely agree you have to plan for playing with and against the elements, it's no excuse for the style or tactics on show at the moment

Has Andy lost the dressing room or what's going on?

Without a doubt

We are in big trouble. That was awful. It's a team that appears afraid to go and win a game. They are reluctant to do anything that's not in the 100% retention with no possibility of a turnover playbook. While that is acceptable for periods of a game to choke a team you have to have the courage to develop a more expansive team with regular shooters getting in key positions in order to go and win games. The Offaly game was a banker from the start. Unfortunately where we have a management that cite losing coin tosses as credible reasons for losing then you know you're in trouble but as a previous poster said Andy will go when he wants to That's also true which is even more worrying at this point.

Disappointing performance again, We have to be happy with that point, Offaly will be disappointed they didn't close it out, it's vital to beat cork now

Well the fight is there as shown at the end. But the players are not. I'll be honest Offaly are terrible, unfortunately at the moment we are no better. Can we stay up ? Maybe but it's gonna be one hell of a dog fight. However the fight we showed today might swing it in our favor. Anyways we are where we are talk of changing management at this time is counterproductive. We will change at end of year. As no one in country would make any difference at this stage.

I have to say I admire a fighter and admire fighting teams in team games. Despite of our position and as harrowing as it may be - we overcame a three point deficit to draw with Down in storm conditions last week and kept fighting to the last seconds to get a lucky (square ball?) goal to draw in this one. If I were an Offaly fan I'd be sickened. All in all I stand by my comments after the Down game and my postion on the management and panel hasnt changed, but I love a fighter and there are fighters on the Meath team. Pride and never giving up are the most inspiring aspects of sport. Well done to them for getting something out of the game.

Brutal. There isn't the slightest hint of a structure with the ball. When we have the wind and teams funnel back it's clueless. Have we the best footballers in the country? No but they are capable of a lot more. They are being let down by a management team that can't set out a way to play with the ball. No use of the mark, never quick ball. It's descending into a chaos

If he's lost the dressing room the best thing to do is make the change as soon as possible and think of it as a long term project. Give someone else a chance as soon as possible. Give them the rest of the league and Leinster championship to learn as much as they can instead of bringing a management team in next year. If there's no future for Andy what's the point in having him there.

There defintley is, no better example than Scully today. though he fought for everything, Eoin Harkin had a poor first half but really fought hard in the 2nd half and kicked an inspirational score.

On a positive note both Cork and Down were beaten tonight, sad that we have to depend on misfortunes of others, however, happy to take anything thats on offer and just survive and get this season over with.

Awful is right, presist with the same tactics that just dont work. Its not surprising whats on show game after game when you read the views of our coach after the Down game.
"Tactically they tried to play right. Sometimes the execution wasn't proper, but that's something we have to keep working on" and" as coaches and managers, our impact on match day is minimal - probably one per cent - the players have to make the decisions"
So management are happy with tatics and its not their fault if players are unable to deliver on the day, we will just return to training next week and focus on exactly the things than dont work. As you say he will go when he wants to and all the evidence suggests that is just plain wrong and detrimental to the future of Meath football.

Did we loose the toss again or how can this poor run of form be explained?

If we played against the wind in first half it would be the same, when teams funnel back we haven't the ability to score, we aren't great against the wind either. The poor run of firm is purely because we have no strategy to attack (plus kickouts, frees etc)
