Sounds like some game in Clonard yesterday. Na Fianna would have been pipped to first place had Bracks gotten the win. Bracks with a bit of momentum and could cause Simonstown some problems. Ratoath Royal (Meath) - Posts: 1374 - 13/09/2021 10:15:08 2380181 Link 14 |

Quarter finals on one side is Ashbourne vs Kells, Dunboyne vs Cilles. Other side is Tones vs Na Fianna and Ratoath vs Summerhill

Dunboyne look very strong but Summerhill only average side this year but heard were missing Ronan Ryan Think quarters are Kells v Cilles ( expect kells win ) by 4 or 5 Dunboyne v Ashbourne Dunboyne by a few Na Fianna v Tones , Na Fianna by 2 or 3 Ratoath v Summerhll ( Ratoath by 5 ) Semis Final Ratoath v Na Fianna Dunboyne v Kells Winners Ratoath Bear10 (Meath) - Posts: 463 - 13/09/2021 14:13:31 2380281 Link 0 |

True, but Cilles would have been top on points difference.

Looks like Kells for nearly men again. They'll have to beat Ashbourne, Dunboyne and Ratoath to win a Keegan Cup. Wont happen

Ratoath Vs Summerhill - Ratoath Na Fianna Vs WolfeTones - Wolfetones GC KELLS Vs Don/Ash - Kells Dunboyne Vs St Colmcilles - Dunboyne Repeat of last years Final , anyone's game ABD09 (Meath) - Posts: 68 - 14/09/2021 16:38:33 2380683 Link 1 |
Yeo your right Ratoath v Summerhill ( Can only see one winner here as Summerhill not as good as previous years and dont seem to have any leaders in the forwards ) Ratoath by 5 Points Na Fianna V Wolfe Tones - Tones playing very well and will be favourites and could blow Na Fianna out of the water but If Na Fianna turn up( you never know with them ) they will win by 2 Dunboyne V Cilles - Dunboyne will have too much for Cilles and could end up giving Cilles a going ove , Dunboyne by 6 plus Kells v Ashbourne - Kells will win this one I think by 5 or 6 but Ashbourne are bit like Na Fianna , if they can get it going on the day it will be close . Kells to win by a couple Bear10 (Meath) - Posts: 463 - 14/09/2021 17:48:50 2380711 Link 1 |
One would imagine all four teams who finished third in their group (named first below) will win their relegation Quarter Finals. Meathball (Meath) - Posts: 140 - 16/09/2021 22:37:40 2381211 Link 0 |
Think the Bracks will be beaten and not sure about Dunshaughlin overcoming Seneschalstown skryne & moynalvey to win Skryne Moynalvey Simonstown Seneschastown all to win Bear10 (Meath) - Posts: 463 - 18/09/2021 14:22:22 2381457 Link 0 |
There's only 2 clubs you could see getting relegated, the Bracks or the Ha. Simonstown will hockey Ballinabrackey, after winning the Feis Cup at the weekend, their back to their winning ways, Simonstown are too good to be in relegation anyway. Skyrne will beat Curraha too, Curraha have been well beaten in every match so far this year also, although they did have James McEntire sent off against Na Fianna and they didn't play him against St Colmcilles. I still think the only team they would have a chance against is Ballinabrackey, although the bracks bet them in the championship already, Curraha had a man sent off and lost Jack O'Connor after the first few minutes. Dunshaughlin will probably beat Seneschalstown, but it will be closer than the other 2 matches, either one will easily beat Ballinabrackey. Ballinabrackey were well down at half time the last day with Na Fianna and got a few poxy goals to be leading in the final few minutes and they still couldn't win the game and Curraha haven't won a game since last year. O'Mahonys already gave Curraha a good beating in the Feis Cup and I can see a repeat of that for their Semi Final. So Bracks v Curraha final imo FactChecker (Meath) - Posts: 5 - 29/09/2021 12:26:43 2383498 Link 0 |
Is so many games to relegate one team not crazy? hurlit (Meath) - Posts: 425 - 29/09/2021 14:57:20 2383536 Link 2 |
I think they have this System in Kilkenny Hurling Championship So all teams are in either fighting relegation or into knock out stages - No in between Its so that theres no Dead rubber games and every game means something I would prefer this system so theres a championship feel to all games summerhillof69 (Meath) - Posts: 228 - 30/09/2021 14:35:32 2383759 Link 0 |
