David Clifford’s goal proved the difference between Kerry and Tyrone at half-time in today’s crunch All-Ireland SFC semi-final meeting between the counties at Croke Park.
An airtight opening half at HQ saw the Red Hands edging a 0-8 to 0-7 lead before the electric Clifford tore through in the 29th minute to round Niall Morgan and finish to the back of the net.
The Munster champions would go on to hold a 1-9 to 0-9 lead at the half.
