The groups for the All-Ireland senior football championship series are now set following the conclusion of the provincial championships.

After winning their first Leinster SFC title since 1957 with victory over Meath at Croke Park today, Louth will be in Group 3 alongside Munster runners up Clare, Monaghan and Down.

The Royals are in Group 2 with Munster champions Kerry, Roscommon and Cork.

Following their second consecutive Ulster SFC final win against Armagh yesterday, Donegal are now going to be in Group 1 with Connacht runners up Mayo and fellow Ulster sides Tyrone and Cavan.

As for the All-Ireland champions, they’ll be facing Galway in Group 4 in a repeat of last year’s Sam Maguire Cup decider with Dublin and Derry also on the schedule for them.

The first round of the All-Ireland series begins this coming Saturday, May 17th, with Kerry hosting Roscommon in Killarney (2.30pm) before Connacht champions Galway welcome Dublin to Salthill (5pm).
