MTU Kerry sent traditional giants UCC packing from the Sigerson Cup with a surprise 2-15 to 2-8 Round 2B victory in Tralee last night.

Hammered by DCU in the opening round, the hosts produced an inspired display, leading by 0-8 to 0-4 at half-time before goals from Keith Evans and Conor O'Sullivan propelled them into a 2-10 to 0-6 lead after 48 minutes. Substitute Cian McMahon and Killian Falvey hit late consolation goals for UCC.
