Thirteen new additions to Tipp hurling panel

Tipperary hurling manager Liam Cahill has named a 43-man panel – which includes 13 players who weren’t involved last year – for the upcoming Allianz League campaign.

2019 All-Star goalkeeper Brian Hogan returns after a spell abroad, while among the new faces are 2024 All-Ireland minor winners Cathal O’Reilly, Adam Ryan and Stefan Tobin along with Cathal English, Joe Egan and Adam Daly from last year’s All-Ireland U20 winning team.

Noel McGrath is back for his 18th season, while Ronan Maher remains as captain with Jake Morris also returning as vice-captain. The All-Ireland champions face Galway in their Allianz League Division 1A opener at FBD Semple Stadium on Saturday evening.
