The Roscommon senior football championship final replay has been set for Saturday, November 1st after Padraig Pearses and St Brigid’s finished all square yesterday.
Pearses looked on course to retain the coveted Fahy Cup at King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park until Brian Stack’s equaliser in the fourth minute of injury-time for St Brigid’s left the scoreboard reading 1-15 apiece at the full-time whistle.
The 2023 champions held a 0-12 to 0-6 advantage at half-time before seeing their lead dwindle down to one and then scoring a goal through Robbie Dolan in the 35th minute.

Andrew McGreal flicked in a goal for the holders 15 minutes later and the scores of Ronan Daly and Declan Kenny looked to have them retaining their title until Stack’s late intervention.
