Agree with Monaghan for junior, we had big win last night. Big support from Monaghnan needed for final which should only be a formality.Celtics are a just rebuilding at the moment but will be good team in a year or two. In 1 more year we will be senior again first time in over 10 years. "Come on the Farney"

Wasn't at game but Armagh very poor for senior. Big step up from intermediate.Heard Tyrone could have beaten Leitrim.Sad to see Cavan go.

Tuesday night the Intermediate semi-final was played between Donegal v Kerry and was a poor game of football. Kerry with a large number of imports won in the end. Counted close to seven from out of town, including the two midfielders. However the difference once again was Jason Kelly. His vision in the second half set up an easy Kerry goal from his excellent free. He caught Donegal by surprise with his seventy yard drive when all were expecting the usual short pass. Neither group would make an impression against any of the senior teams. I venture to say that either team would find it tough to beat either Celtics or Monaghan. Intermediate football. without the imports, is poor junior level,

Faha2, I venture to say that Monaghan would beat senior teams such as kerry, armagh and cavan at the moment never mind intermediate. Don't think Celtics are in same league.

Big Fan: Watched the Kerry senior team defeat Leitrim last night by two points and no way would any intermediate team or Monaghan juniors give them a game. Bottom line...too much football skills. To watch a man who must be close to forty put on the display he did was amazing. This was a team was without any sanctioned players but Driscoll, Foley, Gavin, Walsh, Smith etc. showed that skill will defeat brawn most days. Good too to see Molloy maturing and moving out from the five yard line, and that there is a place in senior teams for smaller players with heart and skill like More. Disappointing to see some teams can select the referee of their choice.

Faha2, still think Monaghan would give them a shot. The difference between top and bottom tier is not that much like it was back 10 years ago. Can't go by Leitrim, poor oposition for any team. This guy seems to get alot of Leitrim games no matter who the opponents are.

Junior final was very pedestrian at GP.Congrats to monaghan.Out of the players on view for both teams only about two or three with senior potential.McCullough, until injured, the Celtic no.17 and connolly for Monaghan caught the eye.Celtics with their American born base will be back.As for the posts on here that Monaghan could compete with the Leitrims and Kerrys at senior level, not in your wildests dreams.A lot of help needed even for intermediate level.

cork v.leitrim 4 .00 and tyrone v kerry or armagh(playoff thurs) 2 pm sunday semi finals senior.freeman and greville huge losses for leitrim but still tream to beat.will martin o connor once again be refereeing leitrim match as he has been a former player and ref 3 of there championship matches already a disgrace if he is allowed to ref.

Would love to see the McNabb boys get their medals, they deserve it after so many near misses over the years, will be great final, Tyrones 2man full forward line of Mark Devlin and Ruari keenan could see them over the line

Leitrim romped over Cork in big 2nd half display last sunday.Throw in Freeman and Greville and it should make them a six point favourite against Tyrone who were all out to hold off a depleted Alan Hearty inspired Armagh side.Tyrone should feel aggrieved at the decision of the referee not to send a Leitrim player of the feathered kind to the line for his part in a 2nd half melee. In full view of the ref and umpires he strikes freely-not even drawing a yellow card.In another incident a Cork player jostles the linesman and verbally abuses him, again the referee is five yards away and unbeleivably no action taken. This type of deviant refereeing long overdue for a clean up at Gaelic Park.

Cannot see Leitrim having it that easy on Sunday. Tyrone full-forward will be the strongest player O'Connor will have faced this year. Leitrim centre-half back excellent. Madden had his best game in two years on Sunday last. However lack of fitness will hurt Leitrim. Two of their three half-forwards are barely able to move....can kick scores but will be unable to mark any attacking half-back. Same referee for the final. Agree with your comments as regards the officiating at Sundays game. Below bad. Someone will get seriously hurt sooner rather than later. Most junior and intermediate weekday games were without incident but none of these referees ever get Sunday games. Seems to be a select group of three or four.

Surely its only a waste of money for leitrim flying these guys back out as there almost nailed on to win now anyway, plus the fact that tyrones 2 best players the bull and stevie mc mullan are out injured, half a leitrim team would win, should be a good game,if tyrone get with in 10 il be surprised
