Fair play to McDermotts on their senior county final win on Sunday.
6 in a row, great achievement. Think they had been wrote by many people in the county again this year, but they just seem to have the know how & mentality to win big games.
Fair play to Casement's again in making the final, but it must be heart breaking for them.
The match itself wasn't particularly entertaining, but it was a close, cagey affair throughout, good physical contest.
A lot of praise must go to both these clubs who are continually bringing through some great underage talent into their senior teams, year after year.
Other clubs in the county could learn from these two.
How will McDermotts fair out in the all Britain this year ?
Consistently making the final over the last couple of years, but seem to fall short at the final hurdle.
Casements should give a good account of themselves in the All Britain shield competition, any thoughts ?

Fair play to Sean McDermotts, a well run club and another team that invests heavily at underage levels, bringing the homegrown lads through. Haven't been keeping much tabs on Warwickshire this year but you'd imagine the experience at Provincial Level is paying off. I see Glasgow won Scotland so new territory for them, I reckon McDermotts could really do it this year and get over the line. Probably joint second favourites with Lancs.
