Lack of Monaghan Flag at HQ

(Oldest Posts First)

Looking forward to an efficient winning performance tomorrow but expect again we will not be given the respect of a Monaghan flag flying at HQ, instead a Cavan flag with the colour blue to the pole flying for the Monaghan people, an issue that has been brought to the powers at Croke Park to no avail, so far, maybe they will surprise me and have a proper Monaghan flag but I am more optimistic on Monaghan winning to be honest, maybe if readers of this forum were to mobilise a email campaign to the caretakers at Croke Park, Monaghan would get their flag flying for the 1/4 final, that would be progress!!

Cavan flag there again tonight, small thing but bit embarrassing, wonder does any other county get the wrong flag when they play there?

There are 8 pages on a thread on the main forum discussing a dublin flag, let us have our wee rant over here about no monaghan flag!

This is completely unacceptable at HQ and should be corrected for next Saturday. Surely as members we have a right to demand more from our association. It's about respect for our county, players and supporters. Surely if this was brought to Padraig Duffy's attention it would be resolved by next Saturday. Very disappointing, there are enough paid administrators in Croke Park to right this wrong.

waynol, the Dublin flag issue is about Health and Safety. Imagine the wrong country flag was used next Saturday night for the Dubs - how do you think that would fly?

First victory of the day.

The correct flag is flying on the Hill.

A successful campaign.
