Just to add to your debate..

I think minor and u21 should be scrapped in favor for one u20 champ, plus I think anyway on Senior panels, should not play at that level..

i wouldnt be in agreement on scrapping minor, but club and county u21 are now way down the pecking order in this county at least.

What if you crap minor and U21 and instead have ONE championship of either U20 or even U19? I mean these days there are a lot of players under 21 on senior panels..

I bet Kildare people weren't saying to scrap it last year after winning Leinster.

Definetely not, Dublin have won 2 All Irelans in recent years at U21,2010 & 2012, backbone of the Senior team is made up of those players, and Dublin dominate Leinster at Senior, would be surprised to see Kildare people turn their nose up at u21

cavan, cork, dublin, galway / roscommon dominating their provinials last few years. galway and dublin have both won 2 each of the last 4 all irelands. i would expect cork, roscommon, cavan and dublin to repeat that success this year also, with dublin probably winning it out again.

A joke that luke Flynn was not involved at all with this team and he now heading to OZ with his brother!

Didn't help that his brother arrived back from oz and was straight on to the team.

I think we have all agreed at this stage that

a) It's a joke of a grade

b)Mentors didn't have a clue what they were doing.

I bet the people having a go at U21 werent saying it was a joke or should be abolished last year.Watched Dublin today. Not a hope of anyone beating them in Leinster too soon. They use the U21 championship to perfection .Farrell will most likely take over from Gavin as the recycling of talent goes on.

Love the way everyone has a go at underage managers. Jarlath Gilroy was hounded out of the job and look what he's done in club football since. As for Daniel Flynn, of course he should've played. He just came back from 3 months or professional pre-season training. He was hardly off flooring pints and then dropped back into the squad.

Anyone who was in Parnell Park 3 years ago would've known that this Dublin Under-21 team was coming. We've good young players coming through and have had a lot of success at Under-21 level. No reason why we shouldn't win another Leinster in the next 2 or 3 years.
