Yeah suncroft_abu I saw that, not a bad call there at all hope you had it on with PPower.
Anyway WE ARE BACK WITH A BANG and no one will be looking forward to a meeting us in the next round with a bit of luck we will get another shot of those royal powder puffs especially after Dublin have taken them apart next Sunday. Getting one over on Kildare when they put in their worst performance in years does not make you contenders.
Better not slag them off too much here lads you know how their referees take it out on us every year.

I wouldn't get too carried away. Forwards looked a lot more lively, Smith especially was brilliant but beyond that the midfield and backs got away with a lot they wouldn't against better opposition. As I said on the mainpage, steamrolling teams in the qualifiers has never been our problem. There is only one way this season can be recovered and that's to beat Dublin, Cork, Kerry, Tyrone, Mayo or Donegal. Until we do that we haven't made any progress.

Maybe getting infected by the Meath virus
Agreed, its moving on now to where this team can reach its obvious potential is the main objective. I'd throw Down into the mix as well but realistic Kildare have the ability to achieve something this year by building on todays success.

A lot written about how poor Cavan were yesterday but that shouldn't take away from our win. Cavan were beaten by only 6 points against Donegal and they are strong All Ireland contenders.

Royal Powder puffs??? You really should get over the Meath game before the bitterness eats you up inside! Back with a bang? Do you mean back to being a team that has not won anything in donkeys of years but because of a win against a weak Cavan team you now think you can? Similarly to your comments, getting one over a weak Cavan team does not make you contenders! Its a good job the likes of yourself and Kildare elf are the minority or Kildare fans would have a bad name!

After Dublin have taken them apart??? Its quite possible, they are the All Ireland champs after all and we are a division 3 outfit. They could do to us what we did to kildare.

As for the referees comment........examples please!!

So the ball is up and rolling again. A good win in Cavan yesterday alot of positives to take out of the game e.g our intensity back and the forwards on form. We played some very nice football and we can build on that good win. Alot of talk done by the media before the game. Think mentally kildare needed that and will do there confidence no harm. No matter what people say about the opposition. That Cavan game was a big win mentally in my book because of obvious reasons. Hopefully it can be put to bed now and let kildare and Cavan move on. The lads will look forward to training tomorrow night and hopefully the form stays good and we can start to build a bit of momentum. Fingers crossed we can stay injury free.

So we roll on but to where? Newbridge or portlaoise? We have home advantage and it is vital to get it at this stage. Will they have to ask kildare to move it similar to the league opener v Tyrone?
