Kerry duo in race against time

Both Sean O’Shea and James O'Donoghue are injury doubts for the Munster SFC final.

O’Shea collided with Clare’s Kevin Hartnett in an accidental collision that left the latter with a broken cheekbone, while the Kerry forward is being monitored for concussion.

However, he should be available for the provincial decider once he has no side effects of the knock this week.

The news is not so clear cut for O’Donoghue, who suffered a hamstring injury in the same game, and at the minimum, he is expected to be sidelined for two weeks, which would jeopardise his starting place.

Kerry manager Peter Keane will be hopeful that the likes of Jack Barry, Paul Murphy and Dara Moynihan will also be fit for the Cork clash on June 22.
