Replying To galwayfball:  "We'd get better crowds and atmosphere would be better"
So you prefer being outnumbered by Mayo fans and making their lives easier?

Replying To Townee2018:  "I'm not saying move every game there but if last Sunday's game was on in Pearse we wouldn't have gotten half the crowd. For this time of year and the occasional league game when it's usually tough to draw crowds in Galway, why not use somewhere that's bound to draw big numbers?"
If last Sundays game was against Mayo you wouldn't have got two thirds of the crowd.

I'm in no way suggesting the game should have been on in Salthill. It was a no brainer to have it in Tuam. However, that it is level it is at. The old "home of Galway football" argument is rearing its ugly head again with romantic notions of the old days without anyone taking the reality into account.

Well you can sing that ! I know a service provider that as soon as he sees an address in there adjusts his price accordingly ;)

Replying To northbouind:  "Performance was nothing to write home about, but we got over the line just about. Quite honestly, don't know what all the shouting about having more corofin lada on the team was about, can't see them on display today bringing anything extra to the party."
I think this post re the Corofin lads was answered yesterday as without them we were well beaten by The Ross.
