My understanding is that next year the Galway minors will enter a group that includes provincial runners up. While it is an improvement on the current set up, this would be a second bite at the cherry for Munster and Leinster lads who would have a huge amount of games altogether. Is this a level playing field? Why can we not just join Leinster or Munster? Any thoughts?
Replying To maroondiesel: "it's great news for Munster and Leinster and a small step up for Galway, so it's better than nothing"
Hardly an equal playing field. HQ are doing nothing to help us develop our young hurlers. Shows the hypocrisy of the organisation. Getting the money from Sky to give an international profile yet can't get house together at home.
