Cormac we've been waiting for you for 3 years now to make your mark we all knew you had the talent but at last you've shown us what we were all waiting for. Thank you for keeping Sam in the capital these are great days.

Yeah fair play to him another fella would have went through the motions and sulked waiting for his chance.
I must admit with so many other forwards ahead of him in the pecking order sometimes I find myself forgetting about him!
He has his name written into GAA history now with those three points from the bench.

Fantastic hurler as well. I wonder would the talk of him going back to the small ball game for Dublin be put on ice, after such a great impact?

Yes indeed, what a confidence boost for such a talented young man to come on late in an AI final in the melting pot and doing what he did. Hopefully Cormac has arrived.

Some Dublin Fans sitting beside me yesterday groaned in disapproval when Costello was brought on. He scored 3 great points yesterday. Saw him playing a few of the league matches earlier in the year thought he played well in those games especially the Cork match. thought the 3rd point he scored yesterday was brilliant! he was off balance falling backwards when he kicked the Ball with his right foot.

He wrote himself into the history books alright yesterday.

Hopefully he'll take a lot of confidence from last night's performance as he can become Dublin's main man in the coming years.

I never predicted Costello would be the hero of 2016, never saw it coming. Cometh the hour, cometh the man! I think it shows special special about his character, he has arrived on the senior stage with a bang. Can see him getting more game time in 2016. The future is bright, and I'm excited to see how Deegan and O'Callaghan develop in the future. Seems to take a while to make the transition. Plenty of talent there.
